This was one of the most peaceful and relaxing places I’ve stayed. The weather was rainy but for about an hour things cleared up and we sat on the deck and took everything in. My only regret was not being able to stay longer.

Off the beaten path. Quiet and restful. The tiny home was well equipped for our two day stay, kitchenette, travel info, basic necessities such coffee. I highly recommend the Puffin for those travelers seeking tranquility.

Very quiet location. Stayed at the cottage, was spotlessly clean, heated and cozy. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. Only thing to keep in mind, in the summer with constant light, the living room sofa is not completely shaded so if you need, be prepared with eye covers. And when the rain is relatively heavy it is well heard.

It is a very clean and well maintained property with incredible views of the plains, grass, hills and wild horses roaming in the back. Owner has 2 friendly dogs and it is fun to play with them as they roam the backyard. The place is small but has everything 2 people may need. The road is not paved, so drive carefully.

This property was excellent, clean, quiet, beautiful location and ideal for us to explore the south coast. The hosts were very responsive. Beds were very comfortable. We really appreciated the extra touches of having cooking oil, two different options for coffee, extra towels, salt and pepper and shampoo and body wash in the bathroom. Highly recommend and if ever back to beautiful Iceland this is where we will stay. Thanks again for having us.

Breathtaking location, gorgeous cottage! 😍 If you want to enjoy a wonderful experience with views of the glacier and the sea (weather permitting) surrounded by nature, this is the perfect place for you💯🇮🇸 We had a fantastic time!! I’d go back there right now! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ P.S. If the owners added a washing machine, I think there are connections for one, it would be the ultimate place🧐

We stayed in Cottage 1. It is brand new with very nice decor, a kitchen and large bathroom. The sofa converts to a bed, which gave our teenager her own space. The setting is remote and peaceful, and close to many waterfalls.

This cottage was immaculate throughout and the setting was amazing. Located 5km off the tarmac roads the sense of isolation was unique. Views from all windows provided the entertainment and it was nice not to have a TV!!

Property felt new and modern. Furnished tastefully and well designed. It felt like a high end experience and the facilities were excellently maintained, or potentially brand new. It was honestly hard to tell since it was overall just a really nice stay. My wife's theory is that they are called the Puffin Houses because they are painted to look like abstract puffins with the orange beak and black body.

Kulübede mutfak ve yemek hazırlamak için gerekli tüm malzemeler mevcut. Tesis oldukça temizdi, havlular, çarşaflar ve yatak hem temiz hem de rahattı. İzolasyon çok iyiydi yerden ısıtma Aralık ayında konaklamamıza rağmen hiç üşümedik. Evin çevresinde market vb. herhangi bir imkân yok, en yakın market araçla yaklaşık 15–20 dakika mesafede. Genel olarak konaklamadan memnun kaldık. Amacınız şehrin gürültüsünden uzaklaşmaksa burası kesinlikle size göre.
