The hotel itself was in a perfect location to King St and the room was nice, but there was a strong smell of sewage coming from shower area that was disgusting. We told the staff in first day and they said they would look into it… got back from dinner and it was still there. Told staff again next day and the person at desk personally went up to room and smelled the situation. They said they sent someone to Target to get something to pour down the drain… did not work… told them again on 3rd day and they advised that someone will look into it. We smelled sewage for our whole trip. Was a shame that they didn’t get a plumber to actually look into the problem. So, overall, the hotel could be nice and is in great location but staff had no clue how to fix a problem.

Our room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was well lit and large. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The front desk, the valets, everyone was great. We had a very pleasant stay even though Hotels.com messed up our reservation. The hotel was beautiful. Great location. Very walkable.

It was great. Lindsay at the front desk went out of her way several times to assist in making my stay as comfortable as possible. The restaurant in the hotel was jam packed on Saturday night but I was still able to try their food which was above average Vietnamese type of food. It was very close to King street and it was in a little alcove. I did however hear lots of noise throughout the night and in the morning from the room. Not exactly sound proofed. The balcony was a really nice touch and the room and bed were overall comfortable but the mattress did not seem to be the highest quality. It was convenient for a quick stay in the main area of Charleston. I'd recommend it because all of the staff-front desk ladies and the young gentleman, Taylor, at the valet were incredibly kind and understanding. It's good to feel well taken care of when you are traveling and this place hit the mark for that.
