The room was spacious and up-to-date. Bathroom is more than what you need. The bed is ultra firm. They have an on-site bar with a gazillion rums. We’d stay there again.

Great hotel with an outstanding restaurant and staff. One thing: you need stronger WiFi for business travelers. Consider getting WiFi extenders.

Absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Vela. The front desk staff were wonderful and the room was fantastic! It’s was a 5 minute walk to the ship wreck island ferry and 10 from the beach view casino.

We loved this place! Check in was quick. The room was beautifully decorated and super clean. The bed is slightly firm but comfy. There’s a speakeasy on property and the bartenders and drinks were amazing! The hotel is in the heart of downtown Gulfport and it’s easy to walk to a lot of bars/restaurants. We’d stay here again!

Nice, small hotel in downtown Gulfport. 2-3 blocks from beach. Restaurant is crowded on weekends, didn’t make reservations. Several good restaurants within walking distance.

Clean room, nice amenities in the room. It was a little noisy from the social club being right outside the room we stayed in, but not unbearable. King size bed was very comfortable, great sleep bottle nights we stayed.
