The cabin close to the river was the best! I loved the shower on the outside. Cabin 12 is the best on the Hotel but that is if you like the sound of the river.

There was an area we weren't allowed to be in that we didn't know was off limits. You should post something there. I had a "cleaning" hook on my door, only to find it on the ground when I got back and my room was not cleaned. Staff was nice.

Overall, very pleased with the cleanliness of the bungalow and the grounds. The path to each bungalow is well maintained and gives a real jungle feel. David at the front desk greeted us at check in and made us feel welcome. The free breakfast was also delicious. The air conditioning worked well and cooled down the room nicely. A few comments: -Not worth it to get the room with the private outdoor jacuzzi. There is no cover on it so within a day there was rainwater and leaves in it. Also, they only allow one towel per person so we couldn’t get any extra clean towels to use with it. Very disappointed in that- they expect you to take a shower and use a dirty towel from the jacuzzi? Because of those things, we never ended up using it. -It truly feels like upscale camping because you can hear the cicadas and other animals quite loudly in the room. The sound of the rain was the worst. It is VERY loud inside the room so if it started raining hard (which it often does), it woke us up. If you like a more traditional hotel feel this may not be the place for you!

We really enjoyed the stay at the Natural Green, the staff were incredibly welcoming, very helpful and a good team. The typical breakfast with excellent as were the cocktails are happy hour. The real standout of the hotel was the gardens and grounds which were just beautiful. The restaurant and bar were goods and there was also a fantastic soda (Soda Fortuna) around the corner as well as Chante Verde which was a great place for an evening meal. One or two slight niggles for that there was no bedside table or a bedside light, or a water dispenser in the common areas, which meant that we had to ask for our bottles to be filled a couple of times a day.

Great location. Short walk into the town. Staff was friendly and helpful. The cabins are a decent size and the bathroom is large with a good shower. However, when it rains, and it did, the noise on the metal roof is loud. Breakfast was good.

Intimate hotel with a beautiful garden and premises, breakfast is provided at the front porch with incredible views of the mountains. Few people on staff, but very nice and helpful. Rooms are small, no TV, and little too warm on arrival, because A/C is off until unit is officially occupied. Perfect for the love birds or a couple seeking a quiet getaway. Near the city center (5 min away) where you can walk around, lots of places to eat and a supermarket to grab your snacks for the night!

The staff is so friendly. The family cabana is fabulous for a family. We loved the outdoor seating area. Beautiful gardens and plants and animal sounds. Great location away from the hustle of downtown but still close to everything

Great stop at The Green Lodge

Dinner at the restaurant is fantastic! The Chocolate tour (5 min walk) was a great mid morning tour and very interesting - make and eat your own chocolate! The walk up to La Fortuna was challenging so ask for a ride of you need one. The owner was incredibly helpful and was able to get me a day pass to Baldi Springs for the locals rate :)

We stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. Check-in was extremely easy, the free breakfast was fresh and service was great. The AC was great and staff responds super fast using their WhatsApp. Location is amazing as it’s super close to El Salto and the waterfall but avoids the noise of downtown La Fortuna. The rain also sounded amazing on the roof at night. They also have private access to a river! Perfect location if you are looking for a stay in nature that still has the comfort of a resort.
