City centre Wilmington charms visitors with its historic riverfront magic and timeless character. Stroll the mile-long Riverwalk where seagulls call and riverboats drift past antebellum mansions and Victorian shopfronts. The gorgeous Thalian Hall anchors a district where gas-lit streetlamps illuminate cobblestone streets and centuries-old architecture. Southern cuisine rules the food scene with farm-to-table restaurants and waterfront seafood joints keeping hunger at bay. Boutique hotels and B&Bs housed in converted mansions offer cosy spots to crash after exploring the compact, walkable grid or catching a show at the Wilson Centre.

Hotel Lela Wilmington, Tapestry Collection By Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel was absolutely beautiful, very clean. Central location to everything whether it is the beach, the stores, or downtown, you are less than 20 min to all. only thing i would say was one of the front desk staff women at night was not friendly at all upon arrival which was kind of disappointing but other than that, the rest of the staff was very pleasant. Would 10/10 recommend for anyone coming to Wilmington !"
