Fish & Chips on the sea front, Cat Nab cafe were great. Take out and sit at their outside tables or inside restaurant both available.

We had a stroll around Saltburn itself and liked it. Staithes is situated along the coast road from Saltburn and you'll need transport of some kind to get between the two.

There is a beach we didn't get chance to visit 1 mile away, it's a 15 minute drive to Whitby. Very windy roads and not much in the way of supermarkets nearby so best to go prepared 🙂

"Debbie was absolutely lovely, she went above and beyond… this is an absolute hidden gem. The bath in the Paris room is amazing. The beds super comfy, there’s nothing we didn’t like. We’ve already booked to come back :-) Thank you for an amazing child free weekend away x

"Staff were so welcoming! My room allocation was quickly sorted. Breakfast was great! Staff couldn't have done more and I really enjoyed it. I didn't use the bar, but it seemed busy.
The bed's mattress was very firm. All linen was beautifully crisp and clean. Fluffy, quality white towels. Shower was easy to use and lovely and hot with no problems.
Could have done with towel rail in the bathroom (in bedroom) and a bedside shelf/table (one at bed bottom).
This is a huge, very old hotel which could do with a refurb. But is blatantly well-loved and was very busy! It's a stone's throw from the beating heart of the town. There isn't a hotel car park and parking wasn't too easy.
I would return. Don't expect 'The Ritz', but know you'll have a very warm welcome with lovely folk ."
"An amazing hotel. From the quirky decorations to the exceptional staff, we were thrilled with our choice of hotel and would not hesitate to return there or recommend to anyone else.
The food was delicious too, easily the best in the area."
