Ffamily run hotel with 7 star class service
Based on the reviews I had read, I booked this hotel for our Amalfi Coast trip and I am glad I did that. I could not have picked a better hotel to experience such warm and professional hospitality. The hotel is situated in a convenient location within a short drive to the town made very easy by the punctual free shuttle service. The room was big , well furnished , very comfortable and pristine clean. The panoramic views of the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius from the balcony of our room was breathtaking. Dino and all the members of the staff made our stay comfortable and memorable. Dino went above and beyond his call of duties to make us feel like it was our own home with his personal touch. He paid attention to every detail like a family member and we felt so welcome and valued . Highly recommend Il Nido hotel for all age groups .

We loved our stay at Il Nido. We went in early October, and the hotel was very quiet. Our ocean-view room (#118) was spotlessly clean, as was the hotel in general. The room was also very large by european standards, which was a bonus. I'm not sure if this is true of all of their ocean-view rooms, but ours had a spectacular view of the Bay of Naples, with Mount Vesuvious clearly visible across the bay. A nice semi-private balcony made it a nice place to just relax and watch the boats on the bay. All of the staff were very welcoming, helpful, and hard-working. A special thanks goes out to Dino, who was a tremendous help in getting us to the bus station the morning of our departure. The breakfast buffet was as expected, with a relatively large selection of morning fare. The single hotel dinner meal that we ate at the hotel was very good. The shuttle bus that runs in the morning and late afternoon/evening was very helpful in getting us into town and then back up to the hotel. You wouldn't want to walk it, since it's several miles on a winding/narrow/uphill road. If we return to Sorrento, we will stay at this hotel again!

The hotel has a beautiful view and the hosts are very accommodating. The rooms are very clean with a lovely view of Mt Vesuvius from our balcony. A little further out from Sorrento town but there is a shuttle bus that is available throughout the day and night. Breakfast was very good and so was dinner.

Il Nido was a perfect place to stay in Sorrento. The beds were very comfortable, and our room were very clean. The free breakfast had a variety of choices, and the restaurant was a wonderful place to dine with excellent food and good service. The view from our bedroom balcony, as well as the dining area, was breathtaking. Gorgeous view of the bay, Mr Vesuvius, Pompeii and Naples. Gianni was a fantastic host. He helped us book tours and transportation to the locations. He was always available for questions or guidance. I highly recommend staying at Il Nido!

The hotel is not close to the main area but that’s what makes it relaxing with an incredible view. The shuttle is available to take you to the center of town and back. The owner was helpful and even drove us to town when our taxi cancelled.
