Hilton Grand Vacations Club Maui Bay Villas
"It was perfect"
Maui Coast Hotel
"The property is beautiful. It is across the street and 1/2 blk from the beach.close to shops and places to eat. The rooms were fine and clean. Loved the pools and pool towels were provided. There was a nice cafe at the entrance that had great breakfasts. (Lunch too at cafe and pool bar had evening meals). Staff was very helpful. Our flight back to mainland was in evening and we were able to use the pool all day after checking out & there was a hospitality room we could use to shower before flight. All in all we had a great time there"
Residence Inn by Marriott Maui Wailea
"The property is just down the road from the high-end Wailea hotels and stores, but without paying the high-end Wailea room rate. Pool looked inviting although did not use on such a short stay, and the free breakfast was good with plenty of seating. Would recommend going to the Monkeypod restaurant located few hundred feet from hotel and known for unique Mai Tais. Would come here again"
Maui Sunset
"rooms were clean and updated, but the building is older and could use a bit of sprucing up, but the grounds are well maintained. The walk to the beach is not far. All in all it was a great deal for the price."

"Good"
Maui Beach Vacation Club
"Amazing location right across from the water. Gorgeous pool and spa. Room was bigger than expected and very clean. Brandi in the front office was amazing at check in and when I had more questions. Room had laundry and full kitchen, everything was so comfy. Would definitely stay here again. Only con about this place was the woman with the barking dog and her attitude towards kids. She thought it was appropriate to play piano to “punish” the children for playing in the pool and making her dog bark. Piano playing was decent and I don’t think she punished anyone. It was wonderful background music and kids still played. It’s better to bring everyone together instead of being spiteful. Aloha!"

A stay of at least 4 to 5 days is ideal for exploring the town’s rich heritage through its landmarks, history, and cultural attractions such as beaches, sunsets, snorkeling, islands, sea, swimming, cafes, surfing, dining, and relaxing. Moreover, prices may drop during this period, making it great value for money for travellers on a budget.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals to Kihei, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. You could also enable email alerts or push notifications for updates on flash sales and special promotions, helping you seize opportunities to save. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're informed about any price drops or room availability, making it easier to secure that spontaneous getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you find a more economical stay in a Kihei hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels might provide a more personalised touch and sometimes enhanced value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could offer a more attractive option.
- Consider your location: Hotels in the city centre tend to be pricier, but thanks to Kihei’s excellent public transport connections, you might find a more affordable independent hotel a little further out that is still well-connected. For those inclined to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
