Amazing fantasy theme village with rooms that carried the theme all the way down to the stone floors and pottery coffee mugs. Beautiful, well maintained grounds with a pond and walking trails. We enjoyed visiting with other travelers around the fire pit in the evening. We would love to stay again!

The property is just the cutest. It was so relaxing. Exactly what i needed. The staff was excellent and very attentive. You are very fortunate to have such an amazing team there!!! It’s a magical place, plenty of things and activities inside the village. A place to unwind and connect with yourself. The walking trail is my favorite as it gave me time to reflect and enjoy the beauty of the area.

Beautiful setting, but the basics fell short. Arrival set the tone: no one helped with our bags, either at check-in or checkout, so we hauled everything up a very steep hill in several trips. Staff drove by multiple times but no one stopped to help. One evening upon returning to the property there were no parking spots available. We had to park in the lower lot furthest from our room. Orc family house: The room itself needed attention. The shower stall had black, slimy mold and plenty of spiderwebs. The bath towels were dorm-room quality, the mini fridge was completely iced over, and the air vent was hanging off the wall. There was nowhere to hang clothes or unpack, the room is designed for sleeping or lying in bed as there is one rocking chair in the room. Obviously, maybe intentionally, designed for one night stays. On the plus side, the room was pitch dark and perfectly silent, which made for excellent sleep. Dinner and a movie was extremely disappointing. The pasta entree served in massive portions was over sauced and uninspired. The desert which might have been store bought was thrown on the table atop cheap paper plates. The movie was shown on a 48” tv that was mounted to a roof rafter. It was shown during dinner with no additional audio source so the neck breaking height wasn’t the only issue. Self serve beverages. It’s a lovely location that would benefit from better housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services. Go for day for the pictures but dine and sleep elsew

Our stay here was just ok. The price was not worth it in our opinion. You get no extra amenities. They don't even make sure that the people paying to stay can enjoy the full experience. I didn't even know you have to reserve the dining 24 hrs in advance and they make no acceptions. Not to mention, I was completely ignored when I walked into the main office to check in. About 10 staff walked past me without any acknowledgement. I will not be returning.

This place was exceptional! The rooms are very clean, well-designed, and decorated. The property is of quality in every way. I was so impressed with the physical property, from landscaping to building designs. Staff are hardworking and friendly. Their customer service was excellent. Prices are very reasonable. The village is beautiful and the staff very helpful. Wonderful place to spend a few days and unwind. Room was immaculate and very charming. Super cute fairytale-like themed rooms, gorgeous gardens and fun amenities like the fire pit, games areas and hammocks. We had the farm-to-table meal: delicious spring mix salad, very mid pasta alfredo with chicken main and cheese cake for dessert. The setting was beautiful, but the food didn't really match the "chef prepared" hype I was expecting. Nonetheless, we were happy to have the offering so we didn't have to travel out and sitting family style we met some other interesting travelers. As far as rooms, the Leprechaun's Laire village room with the hand-laid pebble fireplace really appealed to me. It's interesting architecture, gold flecked walls and well-chosen finishes were really charming. During that evening we had a problem with the deadbolt, so when the door no longer closed, they moved us to the 2-story 2BR/2BA treehouse. It was fun having the extra space, but the interior design was more luxury rugged and slightly less charming. Overall, we were very pleased with our one night stay at the Ancient Lore Village on our roadtrip!
