We enjoyed our stay at the Kolbe Hotel. The room was clean, bed comfortable and it was quiet. The breakfast they serve is excellent. It was also close to the roman ruins, coliseum etc. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

Kolbe hotel was wonderful. Our family was there for 4 nights. Just behind the palatine hill. We could see the forum from our room and we could walk easily to many sites. On a quiet street closer to the outskirts of the busy rome city center but still totally walkable. Every afternoon when we came in from sightseeing the ac was blasting and cold water was waiting for us. The breakfast was delicious. Something for everyone in the family to eat! The bar was wonderful and let us have the kids in there for an evening drink after dinner. I was able to even work in there one afternoon without too much trouble! The room was great. There was a wall separating the kids beds from our bed which gave everyone some privacy while still being in the same room. I really enjoyed this hotel and would come back again and again!

I cannot say enough good things about Kolbe Hotel! I was in Rome recently during the extreme heat, which created tough conditions. When I returned to the hotel one night overheated and upset, the front desk staff (including Nico!) were so helpful, making sure my room was cool enough and that I had enough water to drink. I felt very well-cared for. Then they continued to check in with me daily by name. It was such a great experience!!! The location is central to the city, but quiet, and the breakfast was good, too. Especially as a solo traveler, I was extremely grateful for this thoughtful, clean, quiet space. Grazie mille!
