There are a lot of great-looking resort hotels along this strip of Mactan. This is the only one I’ve stayed at, and I’m afraid it’s spoiled me for the rest. The service was impeccable and the dining options were varied, delicious, and fairly reasonable. There are even balloon animals at breakfast buffet. My kids loved the the pools the most, but they also loved the Adventure Zone and my older daughter liked playing Minecraft in the E Zone. If your child is younger than 5, you need to be in the Adventure Zone to supervise though. There also seems to be babysitting available at the pool. I liked the spa, which includes a usage of a pool and saunas before treatments.
There were also lots of free scheduled activities. We took advantage of morning yoga, bracelet making, and a swimming clinic. Unfortunately the waves were too tempestuous for paddle-boarding. The beach is very scenic and has plenty of seating and a bar where you can order food and drinks—there are QR does at every side table. The sea was beautiful and there are fish even close to shore, but the sand is grainy. We honestly didn’t feel the need to leave the hotel at all, but if you want you can arrange for boating tours (snorkeling, fishing, diving) at Scotty’s near the beach and city tours and more extended boat trips near the gift shop.
