I stayed for 1 night in transit. Overall the hotel is great. My room was large and luxurious, with everything and more you could hope for. Breakfast was also plentiful with Western and Eastern options.
Overall staff couldn’t do enough to help, however English was only spoken by a few of the team, but we got by.
The dinner experience was interesting, as was the food, but adequate for a layover. The Pullman next door may be a better option for dinner and it’s an easy walk.
Re: the shuttle from the airport: You can walk to/from Terminal 1 through the Pullman Hotel, however must take the free shuttle to/from Terminal 2. It’s every 30 mins which is easy enough from the hotel when you know the times, but may result in a bit of a wait from the airport (outside in the very humid weather!). But it is only a few mins once you’re on it and it leaves,
Overall it’s a good hotel. The pool and gym, shared by and located at the connecting Pullman, looked big and inviting however it was so humid, I’m not sure how refreshing it would be being outdoors! But I would stay here again, very inexpensive and a great option if laying over a number of hours. As an Aussie passport holder, you don’t need a visa to transit either and just follow the signs for Foreign Passports (not transit passengers) to depart the airport which was very easy.
