Small but comfortable rooms In a great location by Leidsplein, many cafes and shops nearby. Was better than I expected, only critique is the worlds slowest elevator which you get used to used but all in all I would recommend for a no frill stay.

Hotel was very handy to main area and transport in Leidseplein which was only about 10 minutes by tram from the centre of Amsterdam so everywhere was easy to get to, including the Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum which were in easy walking distance. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was quite clean, fresh and comfortable with good shower. We were very happy with the accommodation and it was a very reasonable price. The only couple of things to mention are the lift is extremely slow but this is not the hotel's fault as it is down to heritage requirements but it does get you there, plus from the outside the appearance could be improved by not storing laundry at the front window and by a more professional hotel sign. All in all though we would recommed the hotel as a very good place to stay.

I hesitated because of some of the reviews, but honestly, this place is perfect for a budget traveller. It's clean, extremely well located and staff is friendly & helpful. If you can't stand a little noise or narrow staircases, then it's not just that this hotel is not for you: Amsterdam is not for you. And if you need more space and more luxury, you will simply need more money. Some people just want a five-star experience on a shoestring budget.. The bed is comfy and big enough for 2, there's a coffee maker and a safe in the room, soap in the bathroom and friendly smiles at reception. I recommend Sara's Boutique Hotel.

Stedet praler selv med at de har den langsommeste Elevator. Det er bestemt også den mest larmende. 😞 Badeværelset lugtede bestemt ikke godt, Fjernbetjeningen til tv virkede kun delvist. I øvrigt ligger hotellet i det aller dyreste område, med hensyn til parkering.

The location was perfect. You can walk easily to all the main places in Amsterdam. The street is very beautiful. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were kind and helpful. The stairs can be difficult, but there is an elevator. It is a little slow, but it is useful. If I visit Amsterdam again, I will definitely stay here again.

Great hotel staff helpful and friendly. Only thing was the noise we were in the room by the door so heard people coming and going and a lot of chatting until the early hours on our first night. But otherwise the hotel was fab couldn’t fault it.

Ein Lidl ist gleich um die Ecke, auch mehrere Geschäfte ganz in der Nähe (Prosecco Bar am Fluss, McDonald's, Normal) Ca 40 Minuten zu Fuß zum Amsterdam Centraal. Also sehr Zentral aber nicht die vielen Menschen! Die Zimmer sind sauber, die Mitarbeiter sehr nett! Eher junge Leute mieten hier, man darf also nicht zu Lärm empfindlich sein. Meinem Sohn (11) und mir (jenseits der 40) hat es gut gefallen!

L'accueil du personnel était très sympathique, la chambre pour 2 personnes était assez spacieuse, le lit très confortable, une salle de bain privée mais très petite. L'hôtel en général et la chambre étaient très propres. Comme gros point négatif, la chambre n'était pas du tout insonorisée, donc nous entendions toutes les discussions du couloir, c'était difficile de dormir certaines nuits quand on entendait les gens rentrer de soirée ou bien faire leur check-out très tôt. Comme point très positif, l'hôtel est très bien situé, proche de la place Leidseplein avec ses animations/restaurants, un arrêt de tramway, assez proche aussi des principaux musées et du parc Vondelpark.
