We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Royal San Marco Hotel. The room was very spacious and comfortable, but most importantly was the location! Right off of San Marco Square, it was centrally located to everything we wanted to do.

The hotel was really good, great location to everything one needs to do in Venice. The only thing is that it is slightly older and could do with a little updating but honestly it did the job it needed too. The staff were lovely, we had no issues during our stay here at all. Royal San Marco Hotel is in a perfect location- close to Piazza San Marco, shopping and dining options. While the rooms are rather small, they are comfortable and functional. The breakfast is wonderful and the staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend a stay here!

We were given a room on the very top floor, it was very small and tired, it was in need of a lick of paint. Saying that it was clean and air conditioned which was a perfect escape for the heat when we needed it, so was absolutely fine for what we required as we spent next to no time in the hotel except to sleep.

The bathroom are real small and shower water are flooded not a 4 star hotel I will rate it like a 2 star is over rated in this hotel I do understand that it’s a old hotel but there are no upgrades at all everything is old they should not rate it as 4 star hotel by the picture it look great but real it was only a 2 star or less

I would rate this 3 not 4 star, we got the room on 6 th floor and the elevator only goes up to 4 floors. You have to walk up 2 flights of stairs . The rooms are very small, very little space for luggage etc. We really love the location, it was right next to St Marks square and very close to major attractions. It worked for us as we were only in the room to sleep.
