Staying at the Golden Tulip was fantastic. Historic charm, delightful staff, delicious food. It is an old hotel that was much more grand in yesterday year. While aged, it could use a few upgrades (my bed was a bit lumpy) but all in all, charming and convenient and well worth the price.

Finishing quality not so good, a/c broke and was not fixed when first reported had to report second time which led to switching rooms, when booking it was indicated that I will have beach front view but did not get it and when asked they said the info on hotels.com was not accurate. Very disappointed. Must have been an amazing hotel 10-15 years ago but now in a terrible state of repair. Reception area lovely but elsewhere tired with broken tiles and furniture and lack of upkeep. The property has two issues. The WiFi is not good in the rooms and is not reliable overall. The sound of room air conditioning in the room is on higher side.
