The staff were friendly and the overall apartment was nice. However, some areas needed more cleaning. For example, there was pink mould, bottle caps and dust inside the sofa and cigarette butts outside the window. The place was lovely except for the noise from pubs outside. Another thing to note is that the bathroom lacked amenities so be prepared for that.

location was great, price was fair, but the room itself wasn’t great. the mattress was so bad i genuinely thought about sleeping on the floor. the walls are extremely thin and our neighbor threw a party every night and it lasted until 6am so safe to say we did not get much sleep there.

The apartment is well furnished and a nice size. There were most of the basic supplies you’d expect. Kitchen had a decent selection of equipment although very little cutlery, enough for one meal and that was it. The main issues were the cleanliness and the noise. It was reasonably clean except for the shower which had thick mould in the tray and some spots further up. The bathroom was otherwise clean so why was the shower left in such a gross state? The other major drawback was the noise mainly from the Highlander opposite which has live music till 1 am every night and people of course congregate outside to smoke and shout at each other. Then from 4 am the seagulls start and then around 6 the deliveries for the coop, refuse collection etc. with lots of crashing and scraping. It’s quiet from about 7 or 8 am till the early evening when it all starts again. The location is super convenient for buses, trains, coaches, shops etc but unless you can sleep through a lot of noise you won’t get much sleep.

Robert was a lovely host, very helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed having the extra space to relax. Street noise can be a bit loud, but the location is great! Host also provided ear plugs for the noise.

There seems to be improvements to what I have seen in other reviews. There are some very rowdy neighbors on the pub next to this place, avoid if light sleeper. Mattress is pretty hard, again, avoid if this bothers you. Robert was nice enough to let us store our bags for a few hours so we could go on a tour. It was an adequate experience.

Room was clean when we arrived. Bed was comfortable. We were given the family apartment which had a bunk bed in the bedroom in addition to the queen which made it crowded. living area was comfortable and location was convenient to grocery, restaurants and shopping. Check in is not at the apartment which was unexpected. Apartment location is its best feature.

The sheets were dirty with hair and dander, there was mold in the shower, and the room stunk of cigarettes. It was not the room I booked online and was not even close. The bathroom was tiny with the space between the wall and the shower not being large enough for an average sized mans shoulder width. We left a day early from Inverness it was so bad. Space was good but bedding was stained, walls were stained, oven wasnt particularly clean either. Furniture was broken, mattresses were obviously old could hear and feel all the springs and the area was a bit rough too, drunk homeless outside and people smoking weed somewhere very close as could smell it in the hallway.

Location is great. While apt looks fairly recently renovated, housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired. The bathroom fan was broken; the mold and cigarette smoke smell was strong. The bedroom floor was covered with hair. There was no soap in any of three dispensers. Only one kitchen chair. While maintenance was responsive, they could not replace the fan during our stay. The manager did not respond to my text or email.

One star is high. I have stayed in 1,000 hotels and this was easily the worst I have ever been in. Check in is two blocks away at another hotel. The carpet and walls in the Waverly are ripped and dirty. Was a large shredded spot in the hallway carpet. The room was not even close to the one shown on Hotels.com. Bed was hard and not comfortable. Bathroom….was very small. Shower smaller than a phone booth not kidding and the shower hose to the shower head leaked so the water pressure was minimal. Would NEVER recommend it or stay there. I have never left a hotel to stay in another but we looked at leaving but there was no where with vacancies near by and we only were there one night so we roughed it out.

The main door into the apartments was broken, so it couldn’t be locked. This meant that anyone could come into the foyer and stairwell from off the street. This made us feel uncomfortable! The carpet in the foyer and stairwells was filthy, stained and in one part like a dog had scratched to threadbare. The internal walls were not sound proof so you could hear conversations along with other activities from the room next door. One of our party of 5 had a room that was musty from a rock wall outside her room that was constantly wet. We opted not to send any more time than was necessary in the rooms All in all you get what you pay for I guess! And it did put Inverness in a negative light for us which was a shame!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! BEDBUGS I sat on the couch for one hour upon arrival, and the place where I was the most exposed, my arms, was covered in bites. When I pulled the cushions off the couch to look for bugs, it was absolutely filthy under there. I also checked the bed under the bedsheets, and that was gross, as well. There were stains on the sheets and some random person's clothes in a drawer. They obviously do not care about cleanliness or common decency, since they did not even respond to our message about the bedbugs and having to immediately book in at somewhere else.

I have tried to contact the hotel twice regarding my stay to no avail. When you reach the apartment first you have to then walk to another hotel to pick up the key. Not the best system in todays age. When I reached, there was a note at reception stating they werent around and to phone them for assistance. I did this no response. In waiting a while I finally managed to get the key and reach the apartment, In walking in the door, I noticed water on the floor. the bedroom was very cold and tried to put the radiator on, but it did not work. I had to sleep on the couch that night as the radiator in the living area was working. There were cobwebs in the corner of the livingroom...dust under the tables and along the skirtings. This has not been cleaned properly!! They provide tea and coffee sachets but there was not 1 cup found to have anything in. I ended up having hot water from 1 wine glass. There were marks on the toilet seat. I paid £260 to stay in this apartment and it was terrible from the beginning and the fact that the owners are not responding to my messages about this says it all. It is also beside a very busy pub and so bear that in mind when booking as I did not sleep well from that so the location isnt good if you like your sleep. This is not the hotels fault, but something to consider. I would not recommend this apartment or hotel. Service and customer care is not good, nor do they seem to care.
