This hotel offers an older, more authentic feel for the city; the lobby and dining area are charming, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, several issues affected our stay. Upon arriving in our room, we noticed a smell from trash left from previous guests, which I removed and reported. Later that day, while resting in bed, a mouse reached one of the beds and quickly ran off after touching one of us. The next morning, I spoke quietly with the staff and requested new towels and pillows; I was told action would follow, but nothing seemed to occur. We never received the items, and over the next two nights we saw two more mice. Reception hours were quite limited, open only two hours each day. The location was excellent, and if the rodents were addressed, this would be a fine budget stay.

There was no kettle in the room, I think this is a European thing. No food and drink allowed in the room is a bit harsh, I assumed water was OK and the weather was quite warm. The staff were all friendly and professional. Nice residential area near nightlife and close to the market The bar looked really cosy, but closes very early. Lots of storage space. Excellent WiFi
