Extremely Disappointing Experience
I recently had the misfortune of staying at this establishment, which claimed to be a hotel but was, in fact, a private residential apartment. Unfortunately, it fell far short of even the most basic expectations, let alone Japan's typically high standards.
Upon arrival, we were left stranded as there was no one to greet us or provide assistance. The room's PIN was incorrect, and we were fortunate that our airport transfer driver was able to contact the owner to obtain the correct PIN.
The apartment itself was dirty, smelly, and poorly maintained. Essential amenities, such as proper cutlery and sufficient toilet paper, were lacking. The bed had bloodstains, the sofa was broken, and the curtains were stained.
The lack of customer service was staggering. There was no one to turn to for help or support during our 13-day stay.
To make matters worse, our booking experience with Wotif was also subpar. Despite requesting a late checkout three days in advance, we were initially granted a 12 pm checkout. However, Wotif later revoked this permission, demanding we check out by 10 am or face extra charges. The cleaning staff arrived promptly at 10 am, thankfully finding us packed and ready to depart.
Overall, I would strongly advise against staying at this establishment and booking through Wotif. The numerous shortcomings, lack of service, and uncoordinated communication make for an unacceptable experience and very poor wi-fi
