Overall hotel was good. I checked in around midnight and the a/c was obviously defective and making loud noise. I called the front desk and their solution was to tell me to call them back in half an hour and they can move me if it continues. It did continue but I obviously will not stay awake moving rooms until 1am.

The hotel has a great location that's easy to get to from the airport and offers good access to the U-bahn. The staff were nice. The rooms were spacious with good aircon, though unfortunately not as clean as one might have desired. The bed was unexpectedly hard, to the point of being kinda uncomfortable. I don't get why there's so much praise for its breakfast though. It was alright with a decent item selection, but didn't really match what they advertise online and in terms of food quality fell short of what you can usually except in Germany.

Location of the hotel is fantastic - foot distance to some attractions, others easily accessible with public transport. Breakfast - marvelous, large and good quality selection. Room was good but some improvements possible - eg some of bathroom amenities require maintenance. A nice surprise was some add on’s for kids, like painting blocks, pencils, some little to-dos with a sweet gift at the end. All together highly recommendable for a family stay in Berlin

The hotel is in a good location for visiting many tourist locations as well as shopping. Many places are within walking distance and if you want to go somewhere a bit farther, the hotel is close to a U-Bahn station. The breakfast was one of the best parts of the hotel due to the large selection of options. The room was spacious enough for my husband and I but the air conditioning was weak making sleeping a bit uncomfortable. And, due to the extreme hot temperatures, we were unable to open the windows for a cool breeze at night.
