This wasn't the best hotel and it wasn't the worst. It was a solid Ok. Check in was fine except my request to extend checkout 1 hour was denied. The reason was since I booked through Hotelsdotcom late check outs are not permitted for those guests. I typically stay at Marriot's and Hiltons as I travel a lot and this is never a problem. Some other issues I would like to point out to future guests so they can decide if the property is a good fit. The pillows are all on the firm side and made of fiber fill material. They also use overly thick winter comforters and polyester/vinal mattress covers that make sleeping really hot. I adjusted the ac down to 66 degrees and that was not enough. The only occasional chair in the room is a monstrous massage chair. It was enjoyable to get a massage, once, However, If you are staying long term and want a place to just sit and relax and maybe read a book, the desk chair your only option. The toilet in our room was not bolted properly to the floor and rocked. The bath sink was clogged. The windows were cracked. The maid came knocking on the door 1 hour before check out! Even tho there was a do not disturb sign on the door. That is real low budget hotel stuff. They also have harsh led, bright white bulbs in the rooms and throughout the hotel. The hotel is an older hotel that was redone. Some of the work was well done, but other things like painting details were lacking.
