I like the convenience of walking around without a vehicle. So many places near this hotel. So on the other note I'll start by this hotel has so much potential. I surprised my boyfriend because he is a driller and I booked this trip on my way to Louisiana. I just didn't like the fact that I had to clean my own room and I didn't have any amenities. DeRider OYO Motel *Front clerk failed to return my ID. I did not realize until after I was out of town * No phone in the room * Curtain rod broken * No plate in microwave to put food on the spin while heating up * No way to call the front desk. Only a corporate number and robo answering machine 😡 * Absolutely NO ONE at the front desk for check out. Rang the bell and waited. No answer. So I have no closed out receipt, no evidence of returned deposit. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'LL NOT STAY AT THIS MOTEL AGAIN.

I had booked a 2 night stay. had to leave early, I didn't want the 2nd night refunded, but hotel billed me a penalty. I was woke twice by my car alarm, someone trying to steal fuel and or break into my car. Place is a total dump, and I got screwed for a stay at a bad budget hotel. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE HOTEL!
