This hotel is a five-minute walk from the main train station. It's within walking distance to canal tours, the red-light district, Madam Tussaud's and a lot of shopping. I even walked to the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum and the MOCO Museum although the tram passes in front of the hotel. The bathroom seemed like it was recently remodeled. The bed was great. I enjoyed the breakfast.

If I could give 10 stars for the staff, I would...SO helpful every day we were there, even when one of our party was ill. The lobby and breakfast are great...there's water and croissants out as well as a nice espresso machine. However, I can only give 4 stars as the air conditioner was broken, and it was during the heat wave. On top of that, it was ticking, so kept us up the 2 nights we were there. Some of the bathroom spaces were very tight...there was 12 inches of room between the toilet, shower and sink, making for some challenging maneuvers. Other than that, our stay was great, and the location is amazing...so many sights within easy walking distance.

The staff were very helpful and kind. The room was clean and had plenty of space as well as a good hair dryer and coffee. The view from our room was great! Highly recommend this hotel. Only complaint is that there were no power outlets / plugs near the bed which was inconvenient when traveling with a CPAP machine.
