Fabulous, luxury apartment in Napoli
This beautiful, very spacious and luxurious apartment has plant- filled, wrap around balconies with the most fantastic, uninterrupted views over the Bay of Naples and across to Vesuvius and Capri.
It was wonderful to be guests in this comfortable and charming family home. Unlike booking a sterile hotel, staying here let us enjoy for a brief period the lifestyle of really living in this swanky apartment block set above the waterfront in the Posillipo area of Naples, a short walk from the end of the Lungomare.
With electric shutters on the windows to block out the morning light and the sound of the sea lapping the shore, the apartment was peaceful at night, and we slept very well here.
Claudia couldn't have been a better host - she welcomed us with all the information we could possibly need about local shops, restaurants and places to visit, had prepared notes in English and maps for us, left wine, still and sparkling water, coffee and tea, and was able to be flexible with our check-out time and allowing us to leave our car in the private garage until we left for the airport.
The only other comment I would make is that the kitchen is small, but perfectly adequate to make breakfast, and cooking was not on our list of priorities with so many lovely restaurants nearby. Claudia also recommended a local restaurant that does great Neapolitan pasta to take-away.
We can't recommend this apartment highly enough to anyone who would like to experience Naples.
