Great place off the beaten track!

We arrived late, but the hotel sent perfect instructions to get us to our rooms. Nicely appointed room. Only gripe was it was a little cool and the radiators weren’t on to adjust it.would definitely stay again and recommend.

Lovely West Wales One Night Stay

Very nice room, with everything working. The food was excellent - quality ingredients and beautifully presented on the plates. Speaking personally I would have liked a few more of those lovely vegetables to accompany the very tasty belly pork main course! Plenty of parking - very close to the accommodation. Very helpful and friendly reception staff. We will be back!

A lovely venue to enjoy some relaxing time away. Staff were amazing and really made our stay. Evening Meal and Breakfast were delightful. Didn't have enough time to use the Swimming pool or spa but we will be back :-)

What a fantastic place

We booked here last minute and was not disappointed, we were looking for a venue with a pool&spa, really good standard clean, staff helpful and friendly. And tbh we stayed the following night at the cliffs hotel in cardigan and we found the facilities far superior at your beautiful guest house in st clears. Had a really interesting chat with the owner and looked at the renovation photography for such a beautiful old building. 5 stars 🌟 guys amazing 👏 job

Excellent All Round

What a great find, the hotel and staff were excellent.Everyone made you feel so welcome and valued , our room ( no 4) was great, nice big comfy bed with a great choice of teas and coffee and bottled water. The added bonus of the spa facilities was also great and the pool , jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were more than welcoming after a long drive and days work. The restaurant and bar are also good , the food was delicious!. We were initially booked for one night and enquired about extending for another night, initially our room was booked for the next day but after half an hour we got a call to say they could accommodate us, what great service. We will definitely return on our next trip to Wales , Thank you to all the team

Recent visit

Nice , quiet location, well maintained and clean. Had good dinner and nice vegetarian options. Staff are very friendly. For people sensitive to smell, it might take some time to getting used to due to the nearby farm. We couldn't open the window due to this and had to keep the fan running all the time as it got stuffy (also due to ongoing heatwave in UK), we requested change of room, unfortunately the hotel was very busy and they couldn’t find any other room not overlooking the farm. Otherwise lovely place to stay.

Overall disappointing

The location itself is decent, however right next to a functioning farm with tractors which woke us up at the crack of dawn directly outside our window. The place was clean but the room was fairly small - I'd say smaller than those pictured. We arrived around 21:30 so unfortunately the spa facilities were closed which was a shame as we were hoping to use them. The pillows were the nail in the coffin that ensured a bad night's sleep. They were far too large and I just couldn't get comfortable with them. All the pillows were the same overstuffed and synthetic which I found very uncomfortable. Travel lodge for twice the price in my opinion.

I feel so lucky to have found this Gem. I enjoyed it so much I even booked on another night. Me and my 6 year old son had the most amazing weekend. The facilities are fantastic. Swimming pool, park, sauna, spa, gym and hot tub! Elizabeth, Rachael and Reagan were absolutely fantastic. They went above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable. We even got a private show of how they milk the cows! Which made my little boys day. I didn’t want to leave, it was pure paradise. We ate at the hotel at every given opportunity. The food was amazing. One of the best meals I have ever tasted was the pan fried chicken. Now you might think this sounds boring. But it was out of this world tasty. The rooms were huge, with a lovely modern shower and toilet. Very clean, warm and cosy. We both felt very much at home and if we could have moved in. We would! Thanks again to Elizabeth, Rachael and Reagan. We look forward to our next visit.

An average experience

A very average experince. Staff in dining area were very lovely. Grey walls in rooms makes it feel more like an office with a bed in it. The rooms lacked warmth. There are also no phones in the rooms to call downstairs. Its in a remote location which is lovley but this also makes it near impossible to get a taxi anywhere. There was a washing line outside my window which was an eye sore. Ffod and wine avergae. Spa facilities nice although hot tub very luke warm.

Very grubby, run down and outdated hotel. We booked last minute so admittedly didn’t spend long enough looking at photographs but the reviews seemed good so we booked. Each to their own, but the grubbiness of this hotel isn’t my idea of nice place to stay. Room was extremely hot at night so we had to use the very dirty fan (see photo). Menu at the restaurant was limited (one main for vegetarians, none for vegans). It’s located on a farm so the stench of animal manure was overpowering (I’d hate to stay in the summer). On a positive note, the staff were nice and the park is good if you have older children. But in general, overpriced for its low quality.
