The main sites are very accessible but extremely busy during the day with couch tours etc.. If you can stay overnight it is much quieter late on. However, don't miss the old town too and a walk down to the river Arno which most coach tours will miss.

We loved Pisa, it's busy but you can get away from the crowds. We bought an 11 euro ticket to see the sights in the square of miracles (except the tower). It's also worth walkng around the city walls(5euros). Walk along the river for old buildings.

The area around the Tower is immaculate and the Pisa Mover gives quick access to the airport. Feels safe and very easy to get around and plenty of places to visit for a day trip like Lucca and Florence. Train station staff helpful.

Pisa is a lovely smaller town with a great history. Almost all historical sites are within walking distance. The train station and the modern downtown are easily reachable by public transportation.

Great for a few days, quite small and easy to see a lot. Lovely, safe and friendly. Lots of winding alleys and hidden squares as well as the famous bits- absorb a bit of culture.

The leaning tower and cathedral were well worth visiting. Restaurants in surrounding area were very reasonably priced too. Fantastic stay.

Book tickets to the main attractions before you arrive. We had a rainy day in June but spent the entire day doing the museums etc so the rain didn't bother us. Luckily the sun arrived for when we went up.the tower in the afternoon.

Pisa ê bellissima e c'ê molto da visitare oltre alla Torre, anche se i prezzi sono molto alti. Bisogna informarsi perchê ci sono posti con prezzi onesti, anche se non c'ê soluzione nella torre altrimenti non andate.
"I recommend this hotel - nice room, great location, just a few minutes from the Pisa Tower. Public parking is about a 7-minute walk away, there are plenty of dining options nearby, and a Carrefour supermarket is close if you need anything. Overall, we really liked it."
"We had a wonderful stay at the hotel; the staff is very friendly and attentive, in particular the young lad at the reception (sadly forgot his name). The hotel is not in the quiet area but is easily accessible from the centre of Pisa. We would definitely come back to this place. Thank you. "
"The receptionist, Johnny, was knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating. He gave great recommendations for food and things to do in the area. The train station Pisa San Rossore was less than an 8 minute walk. The walk to the Tower of Pisa was less than 2 minutes. Overall, a great experience. "
