Quick trip to Ironbridge
One night stay as visiting family nearby. Hotel is fine just difficult to get to due to due to flooding defences which obviously can’t be helped. Ironbridge is a very interesting place with lots to see

2/10 Poor

Badly described
I did not stay in the establishment because I was unable to walk from the car park ( which you had to pay for) back to the hotel with my luggage. Had I known that before I booked I would not have used this hotel.

Great hotel with lovely views of the river
We rated the White Hart as an excellent place to stay, we could not fault it. The bedroom overlooked the river, was large, clean and tidy. We had a meal in the restaurant the first night which was very good, the staff were friendly and service was great. The breakfast was a full English and we also requested porridge which was not on the menu, however the staff brought it in the following morning especially for us. The White Hart is in the centre of Ironbridge and close to all other attractions.

A gastronomic delight!
We booked a low cost room, however it was comfortable. The 5 star rating reflects the service received and the quality of the food (both breakfast & dinner). Staff were extremely polite and attentive. In line with other Ironbridge hotels adjacent to the river, car parking is free for 40 minutes immediately outside the establishment, with free parking overnight in the short stay car park (2 minutes walk) from 5pm to 10am, therefore we incurred no parking charges.

I definitely would return.
Wonderful stay in picturesque inn. You might need a guide to find your room, but, once found, it will comfortable and bright with all you need. Breakfasts are great, as is the restaurant, and the staff were cheerful and helpful! The location is an added bonus as it is very picturesque.

6/10 Good

Just OK
Good location close to the Iron Bridge and local shops. Access to room was ok but a little maze like to carry luggage. Advert suggested parking but this was either on the road if you could get space or public car park 1/4 mile away. Water in room was either extreme hot to freezing cold with a hair width movement of shower tap. Biggest thing for me was the rather musky smelling room on arrival which did not seem to go away. Food was ok at dinner but expect 10% service charge and at breakfast I was asked how I would like my eggs cooked but only received one, with one rasher of bacon, one sausage which to me was a little stingy.

Amazing value for money, would stay again
Room itself was perfectly clean. Bed comfortable, shower good and vegetarian breakfast lovely. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was quite noisy until 11pm (when the pub closes, the hand dryer in the pub toilets must be immediately under the bed!) but after 11pm, really quiet all night. Hallways seem to smell of stale smoke (which is odd given how long it's been banned for), but the room itself wasn't an issue. This was about half the price friends staying further along the same road were paying, very good value for money. Thank you.

Fantastic setting for tourists
Generally, all was sound with the room and the property overall. Lovely setting and great looking pub with good selection of beers and wines etc. Business travellers beware of the "late" breakfast (normal 0800-0900) which can be pre-ordered for 0730 (if you are aware). Also, was not possible to get food after 8pm so I missed both dinner and breakfast - the joys of working away!

Very nice inn almost across from the Iron Bridge
The rooms are very comfortable, once you have passed through the hallway. The inn was quiet in the evening and convenient to the Iron Bridge and to the Bedlam furnaces. There are more nice walks across the river. Both the evening meal and the more-than-full English breakfast were excellent!

Good central position parking nearby in public carpark but a bit difficult to drop of large amounts of luggage outside the property. Towel left behind the door from previous guests. Shower above the bath but no non-slip bathmat this would have been helpful. Food in the restaurant excellent.

6/10 Good

The room was nice, but the heating didn’t work. The walls were also very thin so the toilet and shower were quite loud from the room next door. Wifi was sporadic and non existent at times.

Overnight stay
My hubby and I had a fabulous overnight stay at the White Hart . The location is perfect . It is within a few minutes walk of the Ironbridge , shops and cafe’s. There is no on site parking , but there is a long stay car park approx 5mins walk away that charges £4 for an overnight stay . As for the White Hart….the staff are friendly and very helpful . The rooms are delightful. Well ours certainly was . It was spacious and spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed , and a large fan to keep the room cool if necessary . Our evening meal was standard pub fayre, but was reasonably priced and delicious . The breakfast was also of a high standard. There is so much to do and see in the area that we will be returning for a longer stay in the near future .We will have no hesitation in staying at the White Hart again , and have already recommended it to friends

Enjoyable Stay
Stayed for 3 nights. Our room was very large, clean and comfortable. All the staff we encountered were friendly and very helpful. Good location close to the iron bridge (in Ironbridge), overlooking the river Severn. Very good breakfast each morning. Although there is no on-site car-parking, a long stay car park (Dark Lane) just the other side of the Ironbridge is within easy walking distance for £4/day - overnight 5pm to 10am is free. (The actual Ironbridge is only open for pedestrians so the drive to the car-park is quite a bit longer than the walk but it's no bother). We ate in the on-site restaurant on 2 of the nights. The food, service and value for money were excellent.
