Michael, 4-night trip

10/10 Excellent

We stayed at Hotel Il Cove for two nights and had a fantastic experience! The location is excellent—close to major attractions yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful. Our room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always ready with recommendations and a smile. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with plenty of variety to start the day right. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations, and we would definitely choose Hotel Il Cove again when visiting Rome. Highly recommended!

10/10 Excellent

The accommodation was cute and just what we needed right in the heart of Rome just a few minutes walk from the Colosseum and the Metro to get to Vatican City!
Jennifer, 3-night trip

10/10 Excellent

The staff was lovely and the breakfast was perfect. Considering how centrally located it was the room was very quiet.
Rebecca, 4-night trip

2/10 Terrible

It was not a quiet room; there was no soundproofing, and the air conditioning was not working well. Additionally, there was no Wi-Fi, contrary to what was mentioned.

downtown Rome hotel

walkable hotel, very friendly/helpful staff, included breakfast at a nearby cafe, internet was good the shower was tight and the shower head hit me in the forehead (low hanging), not sure how to work A/C, street noise through the stay although it wasn't overwhelming
Kenneth, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Loved our stay. Friendly staff, who were always ready to provide assistsnce. Good breakfast abd good service. The hotel's location is so close to many of the sights. The colosseum, the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon are merely we'll definitely about less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Lots of good restaurants close by as well.

10/10 Excellent

Short stay and I wish I could have been there longer. Excellent location with easy access to Termini and lots of restaurants and places to look around for a quick casual evening stroll. Upon my arrival greeted warmly by a very cordial woman ( name?) who made me feel right at home
Alicia, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Parking option expansive. Not clear how to access the place.
Pierre, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

As you arrive the first impression is that you are in wrong place because of all the graffiti on the walls . The room itself it’s ok . No a/c in the spring and the bathroom is small.
Oscar, 4-night trip

Loved the location, could walk to shopping, dining, Coliseum, Trevi Fountain & Spanish steps. Staff very helpful and rooms very nice!

Great Stay at Il Covo

Had a great stay at Il Covo, the receptionists were amazing and very helpful. The room was clean and the size was just right for the price. The cot for our baby was prepared in advance and was free of charge. The free breakfast was good. They let us leave our luggage before check-in and after check-out. We stayed a while at the reception after checkout because our baby was fussy and the receptionist was very accommodating. We will surely book again on our next visit.

Amazing B&B with amazing staff and amazing surroundings
AMOURI, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

This is a little gem close to everything you want to see. We pretty much walked everywhere. Reception was very nice and welcoming. Informative too. Pretty good shower when it stayed up. The restaurant for breakfast, although a little walk away, was good so we went back for lunch on our last day. The only downsides. There was no kettle or coffee machine. I think there was in the past as there were tea bags and cups but no kettle. Also the front door is hard to open when you’re leaving. The smell of the jasmine growing up the front of the building is fantastic. Thank you for making out stay nice and easy 👍
Aneta, 2-night trip

The staff at the desk were very helpful.

Somewhere to sleep!

You needed to check-in at the reception of the sister hotel, ll Covo was 3 buildings along. The room we had was tiny, dark and cheaply furnished, noisy, the lift was tiny - 1 person and a small case - not suitable for a buggy or wheelchair. Breakfast was served at a cafe down the road on a small square. Continental was served but service wasn't personal/friendly. The room was clean. The terrace area was ok - acessed feom the sister hotel - no bar but you could take your own drinks/food up. The location was good - 10min from the colosseum. We wouldn't choose to stay here again, feeling disappointed.
