Monumental mediaeval palazzi. Best church San Pietro. Minimetro and escalators to spare your legs. Many interesting small alleys. Cheap "taglia" pizzerias but other food a bit mediocre. Lively nights because of large student population.

If staying in old town keep luggage to minimum. Our nearest Parking to access old town was by two covered escalators and then steps. If not prepared for this maybe splurge on hotel . Perugia has wonderful art, architecture and charm.
