The Dakota Lodge was perfect for our quick overnight on the trip to see Badlands and other SD areas. While the property is older, it was very clean, and the staff was very helpful with our late check in. I’d definitely stay here again for a clean an affordable place to lay my head in between destinations. The restaurant next door was a wonderful option for a delicious and hearty breakfast before getting back on the road.

When we called the # provided, they said "We are understaffed, you'll have to find another place to stay" When I asked for a full refund, they said, youll have to contact Expedia. It was a bad pick. No ac, no tv, no wifi. There was paint coming of of the shower tub. It was so hot trying to sleep that we just got up and left at 4am. I feel sorry for 2 young people that just took it over 2 days before we got there. I would not recommend staying here.
