Cool vibe ,but only if you about to party ..
The stuff was super extra friendly and the rooms and nice and clean ,unfortunately my room was kinda in the back of the building ,so I didn’t get any sunlight and had to switch on the lights even during the day .
They charge $10 for a bike rental, that I think should be included for a $110 night rate .
Also the beach club they work with is about 10 minutes walk and opens at 12 pm ... so you have to lie out at the beach (also check there is no pool ) I kinda missed it at my booking .
And I have to say it’s extremely loud ,the hotel is located right behind a bar and without my earplugs I wouldn’t be able to sleep ... so if you plan to party is great ,but if you want to relaxing it might be the wrong choice .

Amazing staff and beautiful room!
It was amazing overall! The building and room were such a cool vibe and beautifully made. The location and price are unbeatable!! We loved the feeling of being in what seemed like a jungle. The music is quite loud at night but it is a really cool vibe and a lot of fun if you want to enjoy a drink at their bar or don’t mind the noise.

Great property that definitely fits that jungle Tulum aesthetic. Eco friendly design which I loved. The fan above the bed was more than enough to keep me cool at night but if you plan on spending a bulk of your time in your bedroom then note that like most hotels in Tulum the ac is limited to the evening hours during the day as it gets hot, it can feel a bit damp and stuffy in the room. The location of the hotel is great and staff really friendly. Room is just like in the pictures. Would def stay here again!

Hotel is kinda hidden in a jungle. Haven’t seen something like this before. It was a great experience to stay here. Room called Maria is fully hand made with wood and leaves. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean! Will come again.

Fun eco-hotel!
Everything was great except that it’s an eco-hotel and the A/C only operates from 10pm-3am. Otherwise great location and super friendly staff!

Great value and great service
Great stay and great service. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was a great value with a hot tub inside the room. Yes, inside the room. Be aware of the bar in front as it is quite loud/roudy and goes until 3-4am every night.

AVOID ROOM 5
I Scream House is well located near the beach and restaurants in Tulum, and our deluxe suite on the surface appeared like it was going to be a fantastic room.
Sadly however the bar attached to the hotel makes it all but impossible to sleep, even with ear plugs. The large vaulted ceiling with open walls at each end (minus a mosquito net) acts like a giant amplifier, from 8/9pm through till 4am all you hear is the bar staff screaming the name of the bar and a small group of tourists cheering.
This is much more difficult to accept when you are aware of how quiet the bar itself is and are left amazed at how loud it sounds in your room.
We cannot speak for the other rooms but room 5 is at the top of the hotel and in the pictures and with the price appears to be a piece of paradise in Tulum, it certainly is not.
The staff at the hotel are clearly aware of the problem as when we asked about the noise they needed no promoting to know we were in room 5.
The open walls around the edge of the room and at each end not only flood the room with noise at night but when windy make the room extremely cold and we even had a mouse run across the window. None of the things you would expect from a ‘deluxe suite’ at this price point.

Everyone here was so nice and we were greeted at the front with a smile and she was able to take us upstairs to our room and showed us everything and how things work. Now keep in mind this place is kind of like a huge tree house so there is no A/C and make sure to bring lots of bug repellent. This property is behind a bar that plays loud music and have live performances all the time so if you’re a light sleeper, I don’t recommend this place. All in all, this place is definitely worth the stay if you want to be in the heart of Tulum. It is walking distance to all the beach clubs, bars, yummy restaurants..etc. they have bikes that you can rent as well or there are taxis in every corner. If you’re on a budget or are staying for a very short amount of time, definitely worth it!

Never again
Air conditioner was controlled by hotel staff and wouldn’t turn on until 8pm! We’re in the jungle where it’s 100+ degrees. Give me break. Very loud trance music kept us from sleeping until 3:30 am. Never again.

Great for one night experience
The room that we stayed in was the suite room; spacious, clean, pretty and equipped. Keep in mind this is an eco friendly stay, so there is NO air conditioning. There is a fan on top of the bed. Take mosquito repellent with you. The place is surrounded by bars and night clubs, so expect music to play until late night. I would recommend to stay a night for the experience and no kids. The continental breakfast was basic but nice and they take it to your room. Since there is no phone, you have to go to the front to tell them to take it to the room when you are ready.

The property it self is really cool - very small and minimal but I DEFINITELY do not recommend staying here if you need quiet at night because the noise level at night when they throw parties in the bar attached you can’t escape the noise!! On Thursday nights the music goes till six in the morning ! We are college students and we even thought it was too much- The i scream bar is definitely a fun place to visit if you are staying elsewhere but I would not recommend staying nearby it. Also our room only had one electric outlet and it was near the ceiling. The rooms are a good size and the beach is a short walk away but you have to rent cabanas everywhere since the property is not on the beach. The free coffee and fruit in the morning at a restaurant a couple businesses down it was nice. Again there is nothing wrong with the cleanliness or room size just lack of amenities and the outrageous noise At night coming from multiple places surrounding your room.

Loud music permeating the room until almost 4:00 am. There is no breeze since the place is not on the ocean so the room is hot. No airconditioning. Believe it or not they mounted a fan in the top of the canopy so the fan blows directly onto your body and face, and it oscillates, making it impossible to sleep. You can't adjust the fan. Marajuana smoke in the entrance so thick you can cut it with a knife. No parking. The lot next door charges 500 pesos ($25) per day to park. This is just a partial list.
