A. Bad
1. Refund Issue
- I reserved five nights through Expedia, and changed my schedule while staying there. I stayed there for 3 nights. Cendre told me that it could not refund at all because of Expedia, but Expedia emailed me that Cendre denied to waive based on Cendre's policy. So, I showed the email from Expedia to the employee of Cendre, but the employee denied what Expedia said. On my reservation page, I could see that Expedia will not charge change fee and Cendre's no-show or change fee would be the first night rate and taxes, but Expedia or Cendre charged two nights from me. I still don't know who charges those two nights fee.
2. Language
- They speak English, but it was not enough to solve any problems. Since the other hotels in China also have the same problems, that's generally acceptable. However, when I had the issue regarding the change fee, I asked Expedia to call the hotel. Because Expedia said that as far as the hotel allows to change my schedule, there would be no problem. However, after that call, I witnessed one employee got a phone call and said "Expedia? Hm.. Expedia." (so, I assumed that the phone call might be Expedia) and then around 5~10 second later he just hung up the phone, and I got email from Expedia that they had communication problems with the hotel.
3. Internet Speed: Extremely Slow
- I've checked the Internet speed of the hotel. In the morning and at night, it recorded between 0.01 Mbps and 0.05 Mbps, sometimes even failed to measure.
