Unico was very clean and quite property. The food and the drinks were excellent. All staff were friendly. Our concierge, Eduardo, was kind and checked in on us daily. He answered any questions we had without delay. This is definitely more of a stay at the resort and chill at the pool kind of place. Harder to go into town when compared to Cancun.

We loved everything about the property! Especially our host, Janet, who arranged all of our incredible excursions for us, and even had a nice bath waiting when we got home. The property is great, the rooms are good size. The property is located in the middle of a big road between playa del carmen and Tulum and there’s nothing around. You need to take a taxi if you want to go downtown Tulum, or playa del Carmen and the taxi prices are ridiculously expensive. You can’t take uber in here. I would recommend this place if you have a car or if you plan to stay in the hotel the whole time.

We truly enjoyed the stay. The property had simple lines beautifully decorated and very relaxing. Our favorite part was no children. The beach was not the best but was due to the time of the year with the sea algae. Beds are very comfortable and you get a choice of what type and how many pillows you want. Also, you get to choose the aroma therapy for the room. They only have 4 restaurants, our favorite was the Italian but Al of the restaurants have amazing food.
