Dining in Mackinaw is tourist expensive. Darrows Restaurant has excellent food, quick seating, top-notch service, and reasonable prices. They make 125 pies daily so get some pie!

A very busy place to visit during peak summertime. There are a lot of diverse people you can run into and all of them have been nice and polite. I visit once or twice a year. They have a nice variety of hotels to choose from and shopping!

Love Mackinac City. Easy walk to the boat dock to catch the ferry to Mackinac Island or they also have complimentary shuttles. Lots of shopping and dining options all around.
"The staff was very helpful at check in and gave us a second day at a good price. They offered a shuttle to the boat docks when they heard us making plans to head over there. "
"The staff was extremely friendly & courteous. Our room was upgraded and was nice. Only negative was people were smoking right outside the doors. This is not something the hotel staff could really do anything about though. "
"The staff was absolutely wonderful and extremely hard working. Loved the smores and nightly fire. Breakfast was filling and well maintained. Beds were cozy, would stay there again!"
