They really helped us out
Adria, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Right downtown in the middle of all activities. No door on bathroom, just a shower curtain. Very old hotel which was funky, but we found it ok.
PHYLLIS, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Breakfast options, other than coffee shops, were limited.
Merle, 1-night trip

Historic hotel, cute rooms, with modern access.
Kim, 2-night trip

Nice rustic atmosphere
Craig, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Our window was on the main street so it was noisy at night. Funny note: we encountered a bear in the parking lot.
PHYLLIS, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

If you are looking for authentic Alaska hotel experience, this is great! My room while small compared to standard hotel rooms had what i needed- bed, coffee maker, heater, on suite bathroom. Easy walk from the cruise port!
Cynthia, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Best staff. So friendly. This is an historic property, so the rooms are unique configurations that might not appeal to everyone, but we thought it was great. Perfect location, esoecially if coming in from a cruise ship. Susan at the front desk was great
Andrea, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Amazing staff, extremely helpful and polite. Great proximity to everything downtown.
Kurt, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Ww appreciated the historic site was able to be still used. It was ecclectic.
Deborah, 1-night trip

Bernard, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

Great location, helpful staff! Unique room location and arrangement. Old, which adds to its charm.
Joni, 5-night trip

6/10 Okay

I thought given the age of the building it was well maintained. However, I wouldn't stay there again. If you're a night owl who likes hitting the pubs at all hours and listening to the drunk's yell and sing until early in the morning, it's great.
Rick, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Nice.
Craig, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

I’m a ruff n tumble type, & Alaska Hotel n Bar was fine. If you’re the sensitive, complaining type, it’s not for u! Terrence, the desk person is a natural.
Steven, 4-night trip

4/10 Poor

There was a mouse in a mouse trap in our room. It woke us up but it was very early morning and no one was at front desk. We had to leave to start our day
Darrell, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Heart of Downtown.
Thomas, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

We were on the third floor with no elevator. It would be nice if that was listed in their website. Also no air conditioning. No mirror. No sink in the bathroom.
Steven, 3-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Old time character.
PERRY, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

I love old hotels. The room was clean and neat. The bathroom was clean and easy to use. Staff was helpful even when I couldn't get a ride from the airport they were so helpful. Then at night .....I had pot wafting up from the street level with if coming in through closed older windows. Then there was a party on the street from the liquor store across the street & the dispensaries. The street cleaner does come at 4 AN to clean up. Maybe a room at the back of the building or in the east side would be better if you want quiet.
