Great hotel in a great location. No generator!
I loved the hotel. However, I think the hotel has an obligation to let people know about the load shedding and the fact they do not have a generator. They did not.

Family holiday
Great location for the beach, table mountain and trip down the coast to Boulders. Lots of great eating places near by, including on the promenade. Family had a fantastic time and having a family room with a BBQ was excellent, with the ability to have a quick BBQ for the kids and then again later for the adults. Staff were so friendly and accommodating.

Central and Comfortable
I couldn’t have asked for better value for money. It’s in a central location, with a view of Lion’s Head (and a partial view of Temple Mountain), right across from a shoprite, less than a 5 minute walk from Beach Rd which goes to the V&A Waterfront. It was great to have so many amenities in my own room. It’s close to some great coffee shops and Mojo Market. The hotel is easy to find, just look for the 24 hours McDonalds and it’s right behind it.
I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone staying in Cape Town who wants a central and comfortable location.

Horrible
Did not service daily as stipulated. Two mingy fans and no windows is not pleasant. Had to ask for soap, amenities and clean towels. For the price you would expect more. Rather go to a lovely air bnb.

Lovely apartment and location... would recommend
We had such a pleasant stay in Sea Point. We booked a one-bedroom apartment and everything was clean and tidy. Check-in was easy and the staff were friendly. The apartment had everything we needed (separate lounge, kitchen with fridge/freezer and washing machine), and the bedding and towels were put back in order each morning.
A couple of the bulbs and the fan in the bedroom need to be replaced, but it didn’t bother us and we forgot to mention it to reception. The lack of air-conditioning wasn’t a worry either despite temperatures being 26-33°c – we had previously read the apartment didn’t have it so were not surprised. The SA summer is one of the most beautiful so we didn’t want to spoil it. The secure underground garage is typical and the security of the lift was good.
The area is very lovely and has a safe vibe – we walked to Jerry’s and along Main Road to Mojo Market. There was an abundance of supermarkets / liquor stores so we could self-cater. We ate at the Press Bar & Grill and Scheckter's RAW which were delightful.
I would highly recommend the Aparthotel if looking for somewhere out of the CBD. It’s easy access to Cape Point, Muizenberg as well as out towards Stellenbosch and the airport. We were sad to leave as we had such a great stay – Cape Town has definitely changed since we used to live there 10-years ago!

Quite a lot of street noise and no air con so windows need to be open at night. Spacious, comfortable and very clean. Well located - apart from road noise. I would stay there again. However, Expedia website states coffee shop (or some such) - this is completely incorrect- in tiny reception area there is a Nespresso machine and paper cups - not really a coffee shop! Lovely staff.
