Good for pets, tgats about it.
We stayed here because it was dog friendly. The room and establishment are from the old route 66 era. Despite being advertised as retro, and it was, it was also in poor shape. Our room was very small and had nowhere to put luggage or toiletries. The room had a musty smell that triggered our allergies and the bathroom had no fan so you can guess how thay effected the room after use. I made the mistake of booking 3rd party and ended up paying almost 150 for the night. The owner/manager was nice and helpful and making the best out of an old relic of a hotel but we will stay elsewhere next time through.

What a gem!
Roadrunner Lodge is a total gem! If you’d like to get a true Route 66 motel experience, give Roadrunner a try! Rooms have a vintage radio playing when you walk into your room…a really fun touch! Bed was comfortable, room was clean and the environment was quiet. Could hear a little TV noise next door, but no worse than many stays elsewhere. The host was extremely helpful and friendly. Will definitely return if we get the chance!

The rooms were spotless, and the decor was fantastic.
It was so much more enjoyable than staying at the new hotels chains that we often stay at.

This place is phenomenal. I feel like I had a genuine Route 66 experience. The staff are friendly, courteous and make you feel welcomed. The rooms have a 1960s feel to them with mid century modern style furniture and a vintage radio which plays vintage music and jingles from back then. The music ranges from big band to rock music. The jingles between songs are fun to listen to. The only modern appliances in the room are the AC and the television but why watch television when you can listen to the vintage radio programs!!! You don't just get a place to rest when you come to Roadrunner Lodge. You get an experience.
The classic cars and the souvenir shop in the lobby are an awesome touch. If you get a chance to visit the Roadrunner Lodge, I highly recommend it. You will be glad you did.

Back in time
Really cute retro motel, with lots of Route 66 50s details. Comfy beds. Two good restaurants across street

On our way South
Was a fun experience overall. The folks next to us stayed up all night talking which was somewhat disturbing, apparently the walls are not insulated. It is as advertised “a 50’s motel along Route 66. Parking was plentiful and convenient as we were pulling a small trailer. Probably will not stay there on future trips.

Excellent atmosphere brillian service
This place was amazing done up like it was the 60s all the furniture inside was mid century modern. Even had a 20 minute loop of old radio from the 60s. Right on route 66 i wish i had an old buick or some land yacht of a convertible to park in the spot out front. Some of the rooms even had an original magic fingers beds ( wife and i opted for a king size bed, magic fingers are queens)
