Disappointed and frustrated
We arrived on June 22, 2019 around 3:30pm, only to find no one in the office to help us. We rang the bell on the counter several times, still no one. Finally after a period of time, a man came to the office, I can only assume it was the manager or owner. I gave him a copy of our reservation confirmation. He looked and could not find a reservation under my name. Nor did he have any rooms available or that were clean. He then got on the phone to call the previous owner to see if he knew anything, and he did not. Then he told us a long story about how the maid had not come in to clean rooms that day, they had to evict some people that had been in a room for over a month without allowing any room cleaning services or repairs for a month, and if we could wait well over an hour, he could find a maid to come in and clean that room for us. This was absolutely unacceptable. After driving for 8 hours that day, we did not feel as though I wanted to wait for potentially over an hour for a room that may or may not be acceptable, so I had to drive around town to find another motel and got a room that was acceptable at a higher cost.
