Room was very nice, bed was hard but to each their own. Quiet despite traffic outside. Central location. Ripped coat on sharp burr on Lobby sign, not a biggie but response from lady in office was “should have walked so close to the sign” 🙄

The staff was very nice. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful. A pool and more inviting spa area would be a huge upgrade. Our only issue, not a huge complaint, is that our mattress was very hard.

We arrived after a long day of driving so we were relieved to get there and check in was efficient and we went right to our room for a good night's sleep. The road to the hotel entrance was a bit tricky to find off the highway.

The room was very spacious and clean. This hotel was extremely quiet and in a beautiful location. We loved our stay here! I only have one suggestion of hotel staff… please consider putting a large trash can outside in the gazebo area! We among others enjoyed sitting under it to look at the lake and relax, but in the wind lots of things were blowing around loudly that shouldn’t have been there… mainly about 6 old beer cans.if a trash can is there I think this issue would be less likely 🙂 otherwise it is a cute little spot to appreciate the views!

My husband and I were in for a family function and there wasn’t any room at our families home so we stayed here at Western. It was awesome. They continental breakfast is pretty awesome lot to choose from which makes it nice for all different ages in your family. We loved our room size. It was really nice and large open clean. I couldn’t ask for anymore. Thank you.

Offered Almond Milk
Not up to Best Western Standards. Appeared short-staffed. Not as clean as I expected. Bathroom floor corners didn't appear as cleaned. Front desk individual was also covering very basic breakfast bar. Getting coffee when ran out was a wait... A true positive was the offering of Almond Milk. That impressed me. Handicap room, room 102, shower head was calcium encrusted and only a few water streams flowed. I did inform front desk. Shower curtain too short and water spewed all over floor. A safety risk - very wet tile and potentially a wobbly handicapped person exiting shower. I laid down extra towels on floor as didn't want to fall.

Everything was emasculate. The desk clerk recommended we eat at the casino next door (only other option was driving 20 miles into town). Although we didn’t want to eat at a casino, the cafe there was very clean & the food was very good!

Excellent service comfortable room w/ lake view
This is our sixth time booking a stay at Topaz Lake Inn. The Host offers us the room we like, on the third floor, with a panoramic view of the lake. The room is sparkly clean, the mattress is super comfortable, and the WIFI is extremely quick and reliable. The inn is a great starting point for HWY 108, 4, and Lake Tahoe. It is 2 minutes from a Tesla supercharger and a convenience store.

Topaz Lake view
This is an older hotel. Rooms were clean, quiet, and good size. Bed was a bit too hard for my comfort. Good view of the lake, but too far to walk to easily. A basic breakfast was provided. Staff was welcoming.

This is the last time I use Expedia. I'm getting tired of being put in handicap or pet rooms. It's It's not an issue with the property, it's Expedia. Never again! Expedia secures the cheapest rooms.
