We stay jere annually as we traverse down south. It's not for people looking for a super modern hotel. It is retro lovely Mom&Pop owned hotel. No elevator. Refreshing pool to cool off after a hot day on the beach. Ocean is steps away, Dunkin donuts a few steps away and a really great Mexican restaurant locally owned around the corner on Pacific. The infamous Pocahontas Pancakr House is a couple blocks away for a very kitchy breakfast experience... very busy. The room can get a bit musty, as is the case dealing with a very humid summer. We love the balcony facing the ocean but not on the ocean.

The room was old and the decor was outdated. Big deal. It was clean and the employees were friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much. The pool was great. And the location was spot on. The boardwalk is directly across the street. I would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay at Cutty Sark Efficiencies in Virginia Beach. It is a very nice property, clean, comfortable, cozy, wonderful in every way. The customer service was excellent ! Great people! Ms. Koch Innkeeper, Doug, Jerry, Tammy were extremely helpful and pleasant to interact with. I would definitely stay here again!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Parking is limited but free and manageable. Rooms are quaint but a bit dated. Water pressure was fair and bed was too soft for my tastes but not a big deal. Location is perfect- close to beach, a Dunkin Donuts and Mellow Mushroom- what more could you ask for?

Interesting retro style room ... Clean with strong hot shower. Only stayed the night, but kitchenette diningware helped us eat our takeout, and cooking is possible if you're staying a while. Only downer is it wasn't quite oceanview. The beach and ocean could be seen from our balcony, but sunrise required a 2 minute walk down the stairs and across the street around the condo building blocking the sun.
