It was all that we needed. A room to wash and change in a bed to sleep in and a kettle with supplies for a cuppa in the morning . All nice and clean.

A precious diamond that needs a little polish
Lovely Budget Hotel...
Very clean, exceptional staff, delicious buffet breakfast, wonderful bed and fresh linens... But, please add a little fresh paint & change the badly worn carpets. The carpets and paint give a negative impression on arrival.
Will happily stay in this hotel on my next visit.

Hotel was really nice, close to all amenities the rooms were quite spacious and looked lovely, but could do with fresh coat of paint in areas and few things could do with upgrades.

Bad stay
Punch hole in bathroom door, broken bottom of bathroom door, walls crumbling in bedroom.
Tissue with blood on it under the bed, bed on a angle.
While having breakfast, staff then came down and finished a lot of the buffet off before I had finished taking what I wanted.
Just a overall bad stay and the £20 early check in was a joke as well as arrived 1 hour ealry

We didn’t stay as this was a right rough part of town with drugged up crazies wandering around and shouting and generally giving the vibe of end of the world apocolypse

Good value hotel on a budget
Good value place to stay. Check in was swift and easy, once I’d found somewhere to park. Advert description says parking available but what that means is that there is an abundance of parking available in NCP type car parks within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. Room was clean, tidy, comfortable and well appointed. Evening meal was adequate and reasonable value but with limited choice. Breakfast was good value with something for everyone.
Music from a nearby bar was loud until quite late (11ish) but I was able to sleep through it. The bits that need updating is the entrance to the hotel as it’s tired looking and not very inviting. The steps in are broken with big chunks missing so first impression was not good. Stairway and hallway carpets were also old and looks really bad. I was pleasantly surprised at the room which made all the difference.

Because it was in the city centre it was very noisy until 4 in the morning, they provided ear plugs, which helped a little. It was unbearably hot. The bacon was hardly cooked, it looked as though it hadn't been near a grill so it was cold.

Poor
Rooms ok but hotel in general poor. Really bad smell. They said nothing would come off card as it was just a holding card but balance came off and I wanted to pay at hotel on day with different card. Very expensive and they said it was because of Dave weekend but there was no rave meeting. Room so noisy with outdoor partying on streets.

The worst problem was the noise from the clubs/bars nearby, severely disrupting sleep. The room was also dirty, stains on the bed linen, and problems with the shower and toilet. The nearby parking felt very unsafe. Staff very helpful, thank you, but the property was awful and the noise really impacted our trip. Not recommended.

Didn’t like that one side of the double bed was stuck against the wall. Wasn't clear from the pictures this would happen. Fixtures hanging off walls and a hole in bathroom door. Staff were friendly and helpful
