The hotel is located off the main street, and as you enter the parking lot, there are quite a few signs stating “park at your own risk,” with mentions of theft. Check-in went smoothly, the gentleman who assisted me was nice and professional. However, when I asked about the theft warnings, he explained that the signs were more about the possibility of cars being hit rather than stolen, which felt a bit unclear. The lobby had a very unpleasant smell, and unfortunately, that same odor carried into our room. The sheets were worn, and the bathroom clearly needed sweeping and a deep clean. I chose this hotel based on the photos online, but unfortunately, photos can’t capture smells and that made a big difference in our experience.

Friendly stay

This hotel is possibly one of the friendliest ones I've stayed at. All the staff went out of their way to welcome everyone and they were super helpful with giving a good lay of the town and what goes on. The rooms were dated but very clean and the continental breakfast was a stand warm breakfast with waffles, biscuits and gravy and eggs. I will definitely stay again.
