I love this hotel as it has great ambiance. With that being said I won’t stay here again until they change their pillows. The are these small, square, rock hard disasters. Part of staying at a hotel is being able to get a good night sleep. I could never get comfortable and tossed and turned all night.

This hotel is so out of dated. I booked several days of stay because of the good reviews, however, very disappointed. I wanted to make very honest feedback, see pros and cons below. Pro: The best shuttle service. Anytime you need airport shuttle service, they are ready within 5 minutes. Cons: The front desk check in lady was not trained well to welcome guests. The hotel is so out of dated. Everyday the same breakfast. Both the steam room and sauna room were out of service during our stay (6 days in total), actually I think they’ve been out of service for a long time. While the guests pay for all the complementary services, the receptionist has no sort of any explanation for the facilities being out of service. This is not right. We required aurora call, they didn’t call when the aurora came. Also, to be aware, the WiFi is very poor. Overall, I don’t think the online 9.0+ positive reviews are true reviews. Just wanted to leave my honest feedback.

Great free breakfast off season (not free during season). Convenient free shuttle service to and from the airport, but not anywhere else. Nightly $1.50 per scoop ice cream social. Nice location, great staff, and clean. Just would suggest a bigger closet with full length hanging if they remodel rooms as the drawers below were a waste of space.

We had a great time during this winter trip, we reached around midnight it’s just 5m drive from airport. Free breakfast is good. Lot of common space for kids and families to spend time. Aurora room is fantastic, lot of content for kids to learn. Finally they still kept the character, it’s not similar to any new age hotels yet very comfortable

Worthy of a return trip
Short stop over super close to airport. Room was neat and linens were soft. Breakfast buffet provided, but we had to order in food at 6pm Monday night as restaurant was closed?!? Also, ZERO flexibility with after 11am check out. Plus side there is still plenty to do on ground to keep you occupied for the next three hours waiting for your bus. Worth a trip back
