This hotel is located right by parking lots for two stores. The photos shown are not fully describing the surroundings. Saw some homeless people, which is sad. If you are looking for a vacation stay, do not pick this hotel. The rooms are renovated, but I just checked out at 4 am and left. It is ok for one night if you need to crash but I would still pick another hotel.

Hotel was good. Room was clean and large. Bathroom was large and towels were of good quality. Not a lot to do in the immediate area, but we were just needing a place to stay enroute to CA. Hotel was also quiet.

Staff is always amazing and very willing to help hot tub still broke after a year couldn’t use our deck at all. It was located right next to the exhaust of the pool heater very annoying walls clearly have no insulation can easily hear conversations of people next-door other than that very clean place.

Loved the large room & bathroom, comfortable beds, eco-friendly toiletries, VERY CLEAN (important!), big balcony with view, great customer service, upscale coffee/tea/hot coco machine in lobby, convenient location in Coos Bay all at an affordable price which I appreciate! I did have one concern which they said was in the process of being upgraded the entrance doors from outside to require key card to enter the building. I have stayed at three hotels in Coos Bay and will always try to book here first. Thank you Edgewater employees for the nice stay!

Don’t judge a book by its cover…

As we drove off, I was a little concerned as it doesn’t look great. However, getting to the room, they recently remodeled, and it was beautiful. Great view of the river. All in all, no complaints.

Nice find

Was not sure about this hotel when we arrived but the rooms are large, upgraded and clean. Staff is great! Attentive and helpful. Lobby has coffee machine that makes lattes, cappuccino and hot chocolate. Also have a water station to fill water bottles.

Clean and comfortable

Room was clean, comfortable, and environment was great. My only complaint was that both treadmills in the fitness room were out of order during our stay. But the room was great, and I loved the patio and the pier over the river. Would definitely stay there again.

The place isnt much to look at from the front but the deck/pier on the river is awesome! The view from the hotel room of the river was pretty great too! My only complaint is not having anwhere to hang clothes. The bed was a bit stiff but not so much that we lost any sleep. The pillows were good.

Comfortable for the family

The room was comfortable, although the air conditioning didn’t work and it got awfully humid. The water view was nice. The coffee in the lobby was excellent. There are also nesting ducks on the property which was so sweet!

Love the stay!

The stay was amazing! Staff specially Matt on the friend desk was friendly and very accommodating. The housekeeping were nice and gave us all the towels we needed. The room is newly renovated and it was clean. The only thing I needed to complain about is the bed, it’s quite firm and a little hard on our backs. Other than that, room is pretty nice.

Clean but had a few issues.

A bit of a mix up at check in. Front desk staff was friendly and worked hard to rectify the check-in issue. Rooms were clean. Our curtains did not work properly and the heating system needed rebooting. The door to our side of the building did not have a key entry, and remained unlocked during the daytime. Beds were comfortable.

Tranquil, peaceful, water…steps away. Super clean

Our favorite hotel on our vacation. Sliding glass door opened up to beautiful back yard just few steps from the water and dock. Peaceful, tranquil, and could hear the toads in the background. Smelled and appeared super clean. Felt safe walking around. Only bummer was the hot tub was covered up apparently not working.
