Highly recommend
Lots of people have commented that the beds are hard, they are firm but no different to other hotels we stayed in Vietnam and had no difficulty with sleep. The food is what you would expect from any vietnamese hotel, if you are expecting a traditional full English then you need to stay in Europe. Our stay was very pleasant and would recommend this hotel to family and friends. Plenty of nice restaurants within walking distance of the hotel with lots of western & vietnamese meals. Beach and pool area very clean. Only worry was the hotel wanting to keep passports at check in and not just taking a copy like other hotels we stayed in elsewhere in Vietnam.

Great hotel, great location, great food and staff!
What an amazing place. The staff, food and room was great. The manager, called himself, "The Big Black Dragon", not making this up, was spot on with everything. We checked into the bungalow on the beach, had an issue with the AC (was not cooling the room). We moved to a room in the main building, almost froze to death, it was great with 34C temp and 99% humidity. Will stay here again in December 2019.

Clean resort with great service
Friendly staff, clean and well kept resort on a nice beach. Close to lots of great restaurants and a short walk to the night market. Only complaint is that the bed was quite hard!

great stay!
Diem, front desk employee, was great. So was Don—she had amazing English & was very helpful w/trip. Breakfast was great-so we’re massages on beach. A bit of garbage on beach. Town was close; unfortunately, I thought it would be a town & not a small city. It seems that the island struggles to keep up with growth. I would recommend staying here!

Average, overpriced
After the initial hassle, we got two beds in the room as requested at reservation. The room was smaller than indicated though, and the balcony door was leaking mosquitoes in. There was a somewhat disturbing construction in progress at the resort. Very few sun beds at the pool area and only a few more at the narrow beach front, certainly not enough for the number of customers. Average breakfast.

Great. Right by the beach and nice pool too!
Lovely hotel right on a beaitiful Beach! Where you can swim. It's really nice. Staff were good but lady (prob secondin charge) at desk not very understanding. I had to speak to the manager multiple times and he was MAGNIFICENT. Our toilet was blocked for two days and having complained we were told to use public pool toilets! Lol. They eventually upgraded us to VIP room which was nice. Overall not a bad experience.

Nice hotel on beautiful beach in great location
Hotel is in the beach in great location. The reception staff is friendl. The restaurant staff seems lost in taking orders and delivering them. Food is ok, don’t expect anything good. I reserved room for 5, 2 adults and 3 kids. We got 2 queen beds. I’m not sure how they thought we could fit all there. I had to pay extra $22 a night for another bed.

Good hotel on the beach
The resort is on the beach and far from the hustle and bustle but still in a walkable distance to the city centre. It has a beautiful and well-maintainced garden. The hotel offers a free transportation from and to the airport. The Wifi is fast. The staff is exstremely helpful and polite. The breakfast is mix of a Vietnam style cousine, so you can try some of traditional Vietnamese dishes, and Western style breakfast with omlets and other things. There are free sunbeds on the beach.

Good experience, enjoyed the Sim wine & fish sauce!
Staff was courteous, and polite. Room was ok, slightly tight for a "family room". Beds were hard, to our liking. Remember not to flush anything down the toilet or it will clog. This applies to restaurants, etc too...I suppose Phu Quoc Island has a weak plumbing system. Part of resort was closed for renovation, including the pool, which was a disappointment. Good thing we could still enjoy the private beach. Resort provides complimentary airport transfers; however, on our departure date, transfer was not arranged (even though previously confirmed upon check-in). Staff called for taxi, but we had to pay for this transfer. Staff was nice enough to prepare take-away breakfast for our family. Overall, happy with staff and stay, but could be better organized.

4/10 Fair

Dissapointed
Breakfast for westerners was dismal. Passing off cottees cordial as orange juice is just the beginning. Their was never enough variety of fresh fruit. The only cereal was some chocalety things mixed with cornflakes with warm milk yuk and although they did fresh cooked eggs the only thing to compliment them was soggy fatty bacon. In windy restaurant when the prices are not that much cheaper than australia you would expect more than 2 small pieces of chicken in a chicken??? curry. Put that together with arguing sour faced staff who refused to serve anyone unless you somehow got their attention by waiving your arms in the air or going up to the bar yourself and then think yourself lucky if they get your order right. On a better note the beach front bungalows are truly beachfront, our security guard was lovely and our cleaner was brilliant.

Really great hotel right on the beach
The resort is tucked away on a quiet lane, and right on the beach. Because of the work of the staff, the beach is very clean. The grounds are beautiful. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. They were awesome. I loved my stay

Economical; clean; ocean front
Great stay; economical; a bit noisy because of construction/renovations going on; but great ocean front location with nice calm water in which to swim; breakfast was plentiful; massage services right on the beach; staff was very limited in terms of their English skills.

Great hotel
Great location right on the beach also has a very nice pool. Rooms have been renovated since the last time I stayed there (2years ago). Which make them nice and comfortable. Free airport pick up. It was about 110,000 dong for taxi to return to airport. Breakfast was good, fresh fruit and egg station lots of Asian options as well. Really no complaints with this hotel. Lots of food options out on the main road from hotel as well or a 10-15 min walk to the night market for a place to eat durring the evening (great seafood)

8/10 Very good

good value
Stayed for 5 nite and overall we were fine with the hotel. Beds, however, are ridiculously hard. Staff did provide my wife beach chair cushions to aleviate somewhat so that was something I guess. Breakfast was typical lukewarm buffet fare and lukewarm coffee. We were unable to find any thing that would pass for real, let alone good food in the area or at the hotel. The only thing anywhere that was hot and not over priced was soup, so we went to the local co-op and bought noodles that you pour water over and made our own soup. This hotel offers value for the money. The Beach is clean, wide and the water is very warm. It is not Bavaro or Sechelles. People who rave about Nams beachs have not been to Ausie or Caribean, but this beach is the best 1 we have found thus far and if your coming you will be OK with this hotel for your money.
