Arcadia Boutique Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful hotel in a 17th century building right in the heart of old Bratislava.
Rooms are huge, spotless, and well-decorated. Wifi was excellent. Shower pressure was excellent. Beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent. Rooms had a lot of noise from the outside, as it is in a busy neighborhood.
Overall, this is a great choice if you want to stay near the action in Bratislava."
"Probably the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Quirky rooms but with real old world charm. The rooms were spotless each day. The beds were some of the comfiest I've experienced in a hotel. Everything was clearly labelled down to the air con control instructions. The large bathroom was greatly appreciated, with a wonderful large shower with old school taps and controls. The staff on the front desk were superb with each interaction I had with them. There was a huge choice of food for breakfast and it was delicious. We even had a packed breakfast on leaving due to an early flight. The free minibar was also a superb touch. Added to this was the add on of the beer pub and brewery to the hotel. One of our party was even gifted a bottle of wine on their birthday which was unexpected but touches like that can make a stay. I can definitely say I will return to this hotel."
"Hotel was in the perfect location, the breakfast has a good variety of options and rooms were spacious. Only negative was, we had to change rooms as the air conditioning wasn't working nor the TV"
"I like the Devin. It’s a beautiful location close to the centre.
The hotel has a feel of old luxury but slightly dated and past its prime.
Balcony rooms are a good size but made the mistake of booking a single room once and it was like a shoebox.
Breakfast is a very basic buffet.
Staff are polite but serious. Check-in takes forever and seems over-complicated. If you are even one minute late for checkout staff ring to ask why and there is absolutely no complimentary late checkout, even by half an hour.
I would stay again, mainly because of the room size and location."
