It was really nice, good service The room was a bit small and the ocean view was quite poor but besides that it was top. The initial luggage service to bring it to your room was not existing unfortunately… which is was quite disappointing as the room prices are quite steep. The double bed I ordered was 2x single bed merged as one… I can highly recommend to book extra the 3h spa! The restaurant menu is almost fish only and the waiters are very motivated especially the american guy plus the early breakfast is very good! Overall 4/5

Mycket fint och trevligt. Trevlig personal och fint läge vid havet. Rent och fräscht och ett mysigt spa. Fina promenad vägar precos utanför hotellet. Vi var mycket nöjda med hela vistelsen.

För hotellets pris erbjuder det inte mycket, 2600 kronor för ett enkelt rum, spaet kostar extra, renligheten är medioker, jag kommer inte att välja det igen, rummet det var kallt

En natts vistelse. Har bott här en gång tidigare och då var de inte jättetrevliga eller hjälpsamma, tänkte att det var en engångsföreteelse men även denna gång var det lika otrevligt att checka in. Ingen generell info och vid frågor var det tröttsamma svar.

Lite krångligt med parkeringsplatser och bägen in till hotellet vid ankomst då man bygger om runt entre’n men så brukar det dess värre bli. Rummet var betydligt större än vi förväntat oss, fräscht rent och kändes nytt. Maten på restaurangen,Severin, på hotellet var superb, personalen var verkligen på ”tå” hela tiden och gav råd nör det gällde mat och passande dryck. Frukosten var god men tyvärr var det stor åtgång på maten och det fattades en hel del stundtals.

I min värld lever hotellet dåligt upp till sitt namn. Det saknar bekvämligheter såsom mysiga lobbyytor, ordentlig barmeny, ordentlig uteservering, ”synkad” personal, minibar och ordentlig service vid frukostservering. Namnet ”Varberg kusthotell” inger respekt och förväntningar. Det fungerar inte med frukostbord överfulla med disk, avsaknad av bekväm lobby eller en bar som inte kan sitt sortiment eller vars personal inte kan servera klassiska drinkar. (Vällagad mat i restaurangen dock!) Ledsen för detta, men det är min upplevelse!

Flot sted fantastisk service i receptionen men service i restauranten er under al kritik. Vi måtte vente længe fordi modtagelsen i restauranten rente rundt og lavede alt muligt andet fx. Rystepuder i sofaer mens vi stod i kø. Arrogant når vi påtalte ventetiden og enormt forjaget da vi endelig fik mad. Der var en srlarm som blev brugt som undskyldning men det forklarer ikke dårlig planlægning i restauranten. Der blev sat ting op vort værelse vi aldrig havde bestilt.

Vakkert hotell, nydelig interiør, flott beliggenhet ved havet. Vi hadde bestilt et dobbeltrom med sjøutsikt men ble oppgradert til en stor suite med 3 vinduer og sofa, spisebord. Flott rom, gode senger, men badet bærer av noe slitasje og sluket var delvis tett, noe vi sa fra om uten at det ble bedre. Hyggelig betjening som lot oss låne badekåper da vi skulle bade i havet. Veldig god mat i restauranten og god frokost. Koselige turområder, både mot Varberg sentrum og den andre veien mot to veldig koselige strandrestauranter; Brittas og Johns place. Gratis parkering. Alt i alt helt topp, vi kommer gjerne igjen.
