I broke a tooth while eating in the hotels restaurant and they decided not to do anything about it. Short story, don’t stay here. Long story, keep on reading.
I’m currently on my 4th day here in Pavo Real and I’m leaving tomorrow morning. On my second night here, I chewed on something hard while having dinner at the hotels restaurant and broke a teeth. After dinner, I calmly went to the bathroom, confirmed that what I had in my hand were dental fragments and went to the reception. They had a mixed reaction, asking me if I needed a doctor but at the same time laying doubts on their foods fault (they insisted I had no proof, but I stopped eating immediately after the incident and my plate was swiftly taken away). The managers (Lisette Caballero and Ana Cortes) were not there, so I was told that I would have an answer on the hotels response on the next day (I left a written complaint, which was signed by public relations manager. Picture attached). This finally took a full 48 hours and I was just told that the hotel would take no responsability since I had no proof on this being their fault. Walking out of their restaurant with 3 pieces of my molar in my hand seemed not to be enough for these people (picture attached). They also lied in the process, stating that the roasted meat I ate that day had no bones in it, which is false according to a worker from the kitchen I spoke to the next day. Next week we are filing a formal complaint with the corresponding authorities.
