Dated property, photos look better but property is much more dated and looks run down and below par. Would never have booked it, not for the advertised price. They sell locally for less dollars per night. This is like a roadside motel. Disappointed.

Perfect retreat
Wonderful staff with very good food and drinks at the restaurant by the pool. Monkeys often stop by for a visit, along with toucans. View from our balcony was spectacular, incredible sunsets.

Principalmente la amabilidad de sus trabajadores. Desde el joven que nos atendió en recepción hasta las las dos simpáticas chicas del restaurante. Hacen unas pizzas a la leña muy sabrosas. (Tiene muchas escaleras, hay que tomarlo en cuenta si llevan gente mayor o personas con discapacidad motriz) Claro que regresaría, por cierto.

Broken piano I my room not against a wall and jutting out half way b/w wall and bed. I asked for three days for to help move it as it only had 2 wheels. The owner asked if I could move it, I said it will take 2 people but I would help. The next two days he said to me “ we’ll get that piano moved”. The bruises on n my hand and foot wouldn’t look so bad if it were operational, as I play piano. Just a piece of junk stored in a guest room. P

We loved our stay at Hotel La Colina! The hotel is very unique, almost like an Airbnb. We loved having a fully functioning kitchen. The restaurant had live music and friendly staff. The location is also fantastic, with Quepos and Manuel Antonio both less than a 10 minute drive away. 10/10 would recommend!

Nice service, breakfast was fresh-not included but reasonable. Arranged our zip lining tour easily. A lot of steps if you want the view! I suggest requesting a lower floor if you can’t do the steps. Wonderful service

Great Hotel, lots of stairs
The setting is beautiful, with a decent view of the Pacific from the restaurant. The price of the setting is that there are a lot of stairs! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was very very clean. I was very grateful for the effective air conditioning, but it was rather loud.
