The hotel is beautiful! We did not eat in the restaurant but the food smelled delicious. It is in a great location and the staff were wonderful. It is a new hotel so they have a few kinks to work out, but we really enjoyed our stay!

We arrived late and tired at the Wills Hotel. The front desk staff went out of their way to help us to our room and get set up for the evening. The next morning, staff were equally helpful with arranging for some extras that we requested. The room was pleasant and everything worked well. We would definitely stay here again.

Top class hotel in the heart of Cumberland. They have a dedicated room for bicycle storage for guests who are riding the C&O towpath trail or the GAP trail. Even though it is downtown they have ample free parking in a nearby parking garage. Wonderful restaurant and bar as well.

Hotel was only opened 10 weeks prior so still ironing out the kinks i feel. Lively bar and restaurant for dinner with good food. Weak point was the breakfast which was cold help yourself items on the bar with limited choice. For the boutique style of the place this needs to be improved.

Cumberland is my father's hometown. It always brings me joy when I return. I was thrilled to see all of the work they have put into the downtown area. All the cute shops added to the experience. While I didn't get to do much exploring, we will be back in the near future!

I thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of this beautiful new hotel. Returning to my hometown for a Celebration of Life, it felt like discovering a hidden gem in the heart of the historic downtown district. Once checked in, everything was within easy walking distance, making the location incredibly convenient. The staff made the experience especially enjoyable. The front desk team was warm, welcoming, and a pleasure to work with throughout my stay. The bar service was outstanding, and the food exceeded my expectations. The only challenge was navigating the parking process. I had expected on-site parking, but unloading luggage, checking in, locating the designated parking area, and then repeating the process at checkout required a bit of planning. A more convenient loading and unloading area or clearer parking instructions would greatly enhance the guest experience. One additional suggestion would be to offer decaffeinated coffee and expand the complimentary breakfast selection beyond fruit and regular coffee. While these are relatively minor improvements, they would add even more value for guests. Overall, these were small inconveniences and did not detract from an otherwise wonderful stay. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

This newly renovated hotel captured the essence of the original structure, while providing chic accommodations. We had drinks at the bar and enjoyed talking to the bartender Michael, who told us more about local history. If you are staying in the area, this is the only place to stay.

The free parking (which was excellent) was confusing. In order to obtain a parking dongle, you had to check in but there was no where to park when you were trying to check in. Also, if you didn't return the parking dongle, you were charged $20 but you can't exit the parking garage without the dongle. Therefore, you have to exit the garage and find somewhere to park so you can return the dongle and finish checking out. They need to come up with a better method of enabling parking access.

Beautiful property and conveniently located. Cumberland is clearly "up and coming" and this hotel is perfectly situated to be in a golden spot when it finishes growing. Even as-is, it was fantastically situated and wonderfully appointed. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to revisit again some day in the future.
