My family and I have just returned home after having had a wonderful week at this resort. The resort was at full capacity throughout our stay, and yet the level of service was always maintained at a very high standard. Food and beverage was provided plentifully throughout the day and the selection of restaurants and food locations was excellent as was the variation in menus. The swimming pool looked very nice but we never used it as the beachside facilities were simply superb. The resort has its own beach from which you have to step into from the decking and every day was beautiful there. Watching the sunset from the beach deck (see photo) was simply enchanting also. Location-wise, the resort is situated very close to the stunning Bodrum Marina and Old Town and is only a 5-minute taxi journey and the hotel offers beautiful views over the bays and the adjacent Aegean Sea islands. As mentioned before, we were very impressed with all the staff at the resort, all of whom are multi-lingual. But I must make particular mention of Yusuf at Reception, Ugur the Entertainment Manager but especially Hasan the Guest Services Manager who always made us feel very welcome and was generous in his offerings to make our stay as special as possible. This was one of our best ever family vacations and, thanks to Hasan and to all the staff there, the Başka Resort Hotel is one we definitely look forward to returning to.

Whoever is rating this hotel as 5star has never stayed in a 5 star hotel before. The staff and the food were excellent however the hotel is under renovation and it's an ongoing construction site with many disruptions and work being carried out throughout the hotel The finishing works of the renovation is not 5 start quality, far from it. The vibe is nice around the place but it is not a high end establishment.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Başka! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, offering breathtaking views and easy access to everything we wanted to explore. The food was outstanding—every meal was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. We truly looked forward to dining each day. What made our experience even more special was the incredible staff. Everyone was warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. The stunning views, exceptional service, and wonderful atmosphere created an unforgettable vacation for us. We had such an amazing time and made beautiful memories that we will cherish forever. This is a former Holiday Inn hotel that is now charging resort-lile prices after doing a new paint job and new name. Do not fall for this or the AI-generated reviews. We were there for not even 1 hour and turned back around after witnessing the so-called “big boss” yelling at his management team in the dining room while hosting a leadership meeting at 10 pm. We also left because we walked in to a room that was dusty and the bathroom was not made up!! The windows had been left open for bugs to come in. Bottom line: it's a one or at most two-star hotel that has no idea on hotel management but is charging 5-star prices. Stay Away!

Öncelikle otelin girişinden itibaren herşey güzeldi. Çalışanlar ilgili ve güler yüzlüydü. Odalar temizdi ancak odaya kahve ve içecek getiren arkadaşlar birkaç kez eksik getirdi. Bu durumu sürekli bildirmemiz gerekti. Büyük bir sorun değil tabiki ancak örneğin birgün bardak koymayı unutmuşlar diğer gün kahve yoktu diğer gün su yoktu. Her söylediğimizde neredeyse 5 dakika içinde getirdiler ancak diğer çalışanlar nasıl özenli çalışıyorsa bu arkadaşlarda biraz daha dikkatli olursa bence daha iyi olur. Bunun haricinde sahile ulaşım kolay ancak tekrar odaya dönüş sizi biraz yorabilir. Asansör mevcut ancak asansör içinde birazcık merdiven çıkmanız gerekiyor. Bu sene sezon bitiminde yürüyen merdiven yapılacağı söylendi umarım yapılır gerçekten çok büyük bir artı olur. Sahil kısmında ise çoğu otelde bunu yaşıyorum ama hep rahatsız oluyorum. İnsanlar sabah erkenden (05:00-06:00) gibi veya geceden gelip eşya, havlu vs bırakıp gidiyorlar. Sabah 7 de sahile geliyorum yer yok. Ama insanda yok. Çalışan arkadaşlara durumu söyledim, 1 saatten fazla gelmeyen kişilerin eşyalarının kaldırıldığını söyledi ama hiç de öyle olmadı. Son günlere doğru otelde ki kişi sayısı azaldığı için önlerde olmasada arkalarda yer bulabildik. ( Eylül ayında gittik) Son olarak da en büyük sorun herşey dahil gittiğim otelde soğuk içecek dolaplarında ilk gün neredeyse herşey varken sonraki günlerde sadece su,soda ve ayran vardı. Kimisi tedarik kaynaklı dedi kimisi yönetim kararı. Bu durumun kesinlikle düzelmesi gerek.

Merdivenler ve mevcut asansör düzeni problem olarak gözükse de yönetim bu durumun önümüzdeki seni yürüyen merdiven yapılarak düzeltileceğini belirtti. Personel genel olarak güleryüzlü ve ilgiliydi. Her durumda bize yardımcı olmaya çalıştılar. Müşteri hizmetleri ise özel bir tebriği hakediyor, tatilimiz boyunca taleplerimize çok kısa zamanda geri bildirimler de bulundular. Denizi girdiğimiz en güzel denizlerdendi. Yemekler de bol çeşit ve lezzet olarak ortalamanın üstündeydi. İlk seneleri için kendilerini tebrik ederiz, seneye daha iyi olacaklarına eminiz 😊

Tesis yeni ve estetik, denizi harika, genel olarak keyifli bir tatildi. Restoran kısmı çok başarılı. Kalabalık büyük bir otel olması nedeniyle tabiki bazı ufak sıralar oluşabilir. Ama plajda şezlong bulmakta da zorlanmak istemezdik. Odamız ve genel alanlar temizdi ancak odamız çok küçüktü valiz açacak yer bulamadık. Ve duşta havalandırma yoktu. En büyük şikayetimiz denediğimiz kokteyllerin ve soğuk kahve gibi içeceklerin çok kötü olması. Gerçekten içtiğimiz hiçbir (kutusuz) içecekten keyif alamadık. Bu konuda kesinlikle gelişmesi şart. Ayrıca son günümüzde maalesef odamızda dev bir böcek çıktı. Yazlık bir bölgede elbette olabilecek bir durum. Ama tüm önlemlerin alınması gerekiyor. Biz böceğin uzaklaştırılması için destek istedik. Kötü yanları- Sonsuz merdivenler. İlk başta ne olacak antreman olur diye düşündürtüyor ama 2. Günden sonra eziyete dönüşüyor. Bir asansör var ama onu beklemekmi daha kötü yoksa o merdivenleri çıkmak mı emin değilim. Hijyen. Berbat. otelin 3-4 bölümünde kirli bardakların deterjan kullanılmadan sadece suyla durulanarak yıkandığına maalesef gözlerimle şahitlik ettim tabii o günden sonra çay ve kahve içmedim. Genel anlamda hijyenik bir otel değil. Yer bulma sorunu. Sabah erkenden kalkıp havlu atmazsanız plajdan yer bulmanız çok zor. Ya da bulduğunuz yer plajın sonunda bir yerde olur. Otelin havuzu küçük olduğu için genelde 3-5 kişi oluyor orada. Kalabalık. Bizim konakladığımızda sanırım full kapasiteydi ve gerçekten yorucuydu her yer sıra. Sanırım çok ciddi indirim vardı kaldığımızda. Belki de bu yüzden sıklıkla ‘maalesef kalmadı’ cevabını aldık. Otelde sürekli bir şeyler bitiyor. Kokteyl sipariş ederken hangi içki kullanılıyor diye dikkat edin. Yemekler. Standart altı beklentiye girmemek lazım. Ama hiç midemizi rahatsız etmedi. Birden fazla yere dolap koyulmuş güzel soğuk içeçeklere erişim hızlı oluyor en azından bir kısmına. Deniz. Otelin açık ara en güzel yeri. Gerçekten güzel.

Yemekler beklentimizin üzerindeydi. Odalar ve tesis temizdi. Deniz dalgasız ve temizdi beğendik. Çalışanlar biraz yeni, yemek bölümünde biraz sayısının da eksik olduğunu düşündük. İçecekler için biraz bekledik gelmesi uzun sürdü. Merdiven çok fakat bu sene için asansörle çözmüşler seneye yürüyen merdiven olacakmış. Bebekli misafirler için bebek arabası kullanımı zor, çok merdiven var. Kıyıdan giriş yok. Başka bir zaman için fiyatlar uçmazsa tekrar gelmeyi düşünüyoruz

Harika bir tatildi. Otel her anlamda mükemmele yakındı. Tek bir eksiklik vardı. Beach bölümünde bulunan barda bulunan barmenler vasatın altındaydı. İstediğimiz koktailler çok kötü geldi. Sadece meyve suyu ve alkolü karıştırıyorlar. Sadece barmenlerden Can'nın yaptığı koktailler çok güzeldi. Biz sürekli Can'ı takip ettik, ona yaptırdık koktailleri:). Tavsiyem Can'ı bulun:D
